Question Holy Wow: bill increase

I just got the notification from Apple that my price for DisneyPlus annual is moving from $79.99 to $189.99, a full $110 jump. That's crazy! Was I stuck in some time vortex and underpaying for a year or what in the heck happened?

Because they can and they think people will keep on paying regardless. I had netflix since back when they were $5 and after two price hikes I told them if they did it again I was cancelling, and when they jacked the price up again I cancelled. I will do the same with disney/hulu when the time comes because big corps need to know we are serious about our money that keeps them in business. It's like I always say "Stop asking why the clowns are acting like clowns and stop buying tickets to the circus." . There are plenty of free options.

And netflix has gone out of business since you cancelled.

Not saying you were wrong, but stop kidding yourself that they GAF about you.

Idk what rock you live under to think netflix went out of business but there is no need for hostility, were just talking about streaming services.
