Company: Vanta (remote)

$365K – $513K • Offers Equity • Cash Range

This is the right role for a design leader who leads with AI fluency, brings strong taste and craft across interaction design and visual design, and has the operational instincts to build the systems that make quality a consistent property of the whole org. What you’ll do as Head of Design at Vanta: - Lead a team of ~40 designers and design directors across GRC, Trust, Platform, Self-serve, and AI — setting org-wide direction and enabling each leader to do their best work - Lead the team building the next generation of agentic, AI-native product experiences — defining what great design looks like as Vanta’s products are increasingly shaped by AI - Establish an AI-native design practice: evolve agentic UX patterns, redesign team workflows around AI tooling, and define how design engineers and designers collaborate in an AI-first environment - Bring a strong point of view to design decisions — engaging deeply on interaction design, visual quality, and product direction, and building the trust that allows design decision-making to scale - Set a clear, shared standard for design quality across Vanta — spanning visual design, interaction design, and AI-enabled experiences — and build the systems that hold that bar consistently: design system, definitions of done, and launch review frameworks

Hiring [Hiring] UX/UI Designer – Refine a Data-Heavy B2B Web App (Remote, Contract) – $250 flat review + $30–40/hr

We're a software company with a B2B web application that's built and heading toward launch, and we're looking for a UX/UI designer to help polish it before it goes to clients.

**The app**
It's a focused app with two main pages: a dashboard and a configuration page. The dashboard is where users work with large data tables (filtering, sorting, editing, comparing values), so the screens are information-dense, but the overall scope is small.

**What's already done**
This isn't a from-scratch project. The app is functional, and we have a current design plus an in-progress redesign concept. What we need is an experienced eye to review both, tell us what works and what doesn't, and help us refine it into a clean, usable final design.

**How the engagement works**

  1. **UX review ($250 flat):** Review the current app and our redesign concept, and deliver clear recommendations on what to keep, fix, and prioritize.
  2. **Refinement ($30–40/hr):** If we're a good fit, continue into design refinement based on the review. The scope is well-defined, and we'll agree on an estimated number of hours after the review.

**What we're looking for**
- Experience designing data-heavy interfaces: dashboards, tables, admin panels, internal tools, B2B SaaS, or similar
- Comfort with dense layouts and realistic data, not just marketing pages
- Ability to hand off clear specs to a small dev team
- Figma (or equivalent) proficiency If your portfolio leans toward websites but you've done app or dashboard work, we'd still like to see it. Just point us to that piece.

**Details**
- Remote (We're Eastern but can work with most time zones)
- Process: portfolio review → short call → decision
- NDA required before we share the app
- Good chance of ongoing work as the product grows

**To apply**
DM or email [info@mtlellc.org](mailto:info@mtlellc.org) with:

  1. Your portfolio link, pointing us to your most data-heavy or app-focused project
  2. A sentence or two on the most complex table or dashboard you've designed
  3. Confirmation that the rates above work for you, and your availability

Hiring [HIRING] Looking for an artist to create a new podcast logo [Budget $100-$250]

Hey everyone, I'm looking to commission an artist to make a new logo for a podcast I run. We already have a logo, but I'm looking to give it a fresh look.

Honestly, I'm not coming into this with a specific design in mind. I'd rather find an artist whose work I really like and let them do their thing. I think people do their best work when they're able to create in their own style instead of having someone micromanage every little detail.

I'm giving whoever I hire pretty much full creative freedom to take the project wherever they want with it. I'd love to see what someone comes up with when they're given the room to be creative.

Of course, this is paid work. Let me know what you typically charge for a project like this. I'm happy to check out different artists and see what makes sense.

If you're interested, drop your portfolio or some examples of your work along with your usual rates. I'd rather take my time finding someone whose art really clicks with me than rush into hiring someone.

Also, just to be clear, I'm not asking anyone to make free samples or come up with concepts for me upfront. I'd prefer to find someone based on the work they've already done and then pay them to create something new.

Thanks! Looking forward to seeing everyone's work.
