NFTs Blur NFT Marketplace to Shut Down Next Month as Trading Slows
Blur announced that its website will close on November 12, 2026, while its Ethereum NFT marketplace contracts remain operational. The protocol survives on-chain, but the Blur NFT marketplace is losing its main interface after monthly NFT trading volume dropped more than 99.5% from its 2023 peak.
Are there a better use cases for NFT that haven't been Explored yet?

DISCUSSION Post Quantum cryptography - Top projects are working on it. So is it FUD, narrative, or maybe just reality?
A surge in projects pushing to have Post Quantum cryptography asap.
We saw STRK jump after posting potential plans to become an L1.
TRON announced it is preparing its rollout. NEAR did the same. I think ZEC too.
Some took things a step further and raised concerns over whether NIST approved algos face risks with the OpenAI math display. But there was also well written pushback to that.
A handful of smaller projects jumped - QRL, CELL, QTS, etc
And some didn't react to the increased awareness like my conviction play QANX :)
Seems ALGO didn't do much last week, but was having a solid month.
And there's several others trying to position themselves.
So what is happening? Are all these projects trying to grab the narrative? Or are they collectively just creating FUD?
My stance has always been there is enough risk that systems are forced to address it.
Trying to convince people otherwise when all major governments and top companies are preparing is impossible to do.
So now we enter the phase where we see what this means for the space.
Projects implementing Post Quantum cryptography is great.
It doesn't create utility for chains.
It is a mandatory requirement most wish they didn't have to deal with.
Migration challenges, size and speed impacts, upgrade risks, etc.
There's a reason it was easier to just call it fud all these years. But now that's rapidly changing.
So, those that do it well should take some share from those that don't.
But the end game of attracting adoption and demand remains the same. Now it's a matter of who does that well with the added challenge of quality post quantum solutions. Time will tell, but things are moving fast.
How do you see this playing out?

DISCUSSION How credible are the allegations about Blockstream’s mining business?
Has anyone looked into natinfosec’s articles about Blockstream? They allege that its cloud mining business operates as a Ponzi scheme and that investors have been misled.
- https://natinfosec.substack.com/p/adam-back-lies-greg-maxwell-chris
- https://natinfosec.substack.com/p/fraud-adam-back-samson-mow-chris
Has Blockstream responded, or are there independent analyses that substantiate or rebut these claims?
If Blockstream were to become insolvent, what would the practical consequences be for the wider Bitcoin ecosystem? Especially given that they control the Github Repo for Bitcoin Core.

DISCUSSION BAT within striking distance of top 100
Over the past week, BAT pulled off a staggering 72% increase, rocket-strapped by a huge volume breakout that saw prices move from under a dime up toward $0.20. Its market cap has jumped to nearly $295 million, pushing its ranking up to around #122 to #151. The top 100 is officially within striking distance.
BAT used to be a top-50 regular. But after hitting an all-time high of $1.93 in November 2021, propelled by the trading start of the BAT ETF, the token entered a brutal downward slip. BAT officially slid out of the top 100 market cap rankings roughly three years ago... spending over 1,000 days putzing about the mid-100s and 200s token ranks. From it's low of $0.055 in August it's almost 4x in just over a month!
Why the pump? In addition to the markets early bump this week, just yesterday team Brave announced that over 200,000 people joined the waitlist for their new Rewards Card, which pays out in BAT.
BAT has a strict maximum supply cap of 1.5 billion tokens, and virtually 99.7% of it is already circulating. There are no massive unlock schedules or heavy venture capital supply dumps waiting to dilute retail investors. Additionally, the 24-hour trading volume just cleared $70 million, meaning money is flowing heavily back into the asset.
Re-entering the top 100 is a huge psychological milestone. Once an asset re-claims that badge it regains a degree of institutional visibility and attracts a fresh wave of retail momentum.
Curious to hear if anyone knows what else is happening to cause the recent updraft - didn't get to join their community call today. Did they announce something more then?

🛡️ SECURITY Got a fake OpenSea phishing email !
I don't know if this is the right place to post, but I got a phishing email from a fake OpenSea account telling me that I have a 1.85 ETH bid on one of my NFTs.
(Common, bro, bids are like $10 maximum in these hard times for NFTs.)
The email is insulting. It's clear that it's not an original OpenSea email. bro, I've already been scammed, but not like that...
The sender is a normal Gmail account.
For the moment, I haven't done anything.
But out of curiosity, I wanted to investigate the email a bit more and see how they wanted to hack me.
There's a "View Bid Details" button, and behind it there's a long link starting with something(dot)ct(dot)sendgrid(dot)net/lot_of_stuffs.
Is my email somewhere in a database? It's my main account, so I don't usually receive shitty phishing emails (or at least not many).
