$500 is worth the risk of being scammed if the potential benefit is giving a man his humanity back.
Unlike scammers, we're talking about a talking rat I can see with my own eyes. I'll have to be either tripping, deeply mentally ill or genuinely talking to a cursed human in order to witness that.
And no, I don't smoke or do any drugs, and I'm not (that) insane, lol.
If the rat keeps your $500 and doesn't become human, it's not like it'd be especially hard to take your money back. There's not really any risk of being scammed
