With his 2 points tonight, he is now tied with McDavid. Oh and Svech is tied for fourth. Oh and we lead the league. Anyways..............

He's batshit crazy and I love him!

does the team give him anything? does our mutual dislike prevail and we send him out of town with the loss and nothing more than memories? if we do give him something, what?

no caps, please.

I AM BEYOND EXCITED FOR THE GAME!!! I’m going with my bf and we have an Airbnb that’s around a 20 min walk. I would love to get a picture with one of the players and I know that after the game they’ll sometimes be driving and take pics?

I’m so excited to go to Raleigh and watch a canes game… I went to a Sabres v canes game a couple years ago in Buffalo since I live in NY, but to be able to go to NC and hear how loud the caniacs are…. UGH I LITERALLY CANT WAIT!!!!

I’d love any advice and ways to maybe get a pic with a player😮 I’d love to get a pic with Jarvy but honestly getting to see the game in person is amazing!!!

Any advice for the general experience? And post game picture potential?

Also what a great frozen frenzy game!

How do I get THE RUSSIAN MUFASA?

The broadcast was reviewing the call on the projectors in front of them. Svech smacks the boards at the ref and right after, they didn’t show it again, Svech’s stick grazes the ref.

Rod Brind'Amour: "Unfortunately, he got a little tear in his calf so that's going to be a long-term injury. That's going to be anywhere from a month to two months."

Said it happened during warmups Sunday in Philadelphia.

Fellow Caniacs, just wanted to let folks know there's a program out there where you can donate tickets you can't use to local teachers and get a tax donation receipt in exchange. Tickets for Teachers. They can take tickets up to three hours before the game. Nice way to make sure they don't go to waste if you're ever scrambling. More info here: https://rootedindps.org/projects/tickets-for-teachers/

The Canes won, but Taylor Hall left due to injury, sadly. Here are the details of the game, and of course, some footage and clips!

My chicken is Bojangles. I will die for my country, Raleigh.

This was @ Game Two of the Finals vs. VGK. I flew home and surprised my high school buddy with tickets. I told him we were going to be in the 300s, only to walk us down to the lower bowl. He cried and hugged me. This was the best day of my life for many reasons, but god, I love the Carolina Hurricanes.

This DirectTV dispute has sucked a big one. It especially sucks for establishments that WANT to show the games, but legally can't.

Many people might ask "why don't they switch to Spectrum or Prime?"

That is far easier said than done.

Many commercial TV packages have exit fees. Of potentially thousands of dollars. And to add prime, you need to pay the business rate for it AND upgrade all your tvs if they aren't smart TVs.

And imagine if these establishments (who's margins are thin already) do pay that thousands of dollars to switch to other providers only for the Canes and then the Canes and DirectTV come to an agreement the next day?

So l ask Caniacs in the Carolinas, Virginia, and Georgia to be patient with places that are caught up in this BS. It's far more complicated for them than just "switching". The only victims of this dispute are the fans. That includes the establishment's locally that I KNOW are huge Caniacs.

If you feel moved to do something, call DirectTV and urge them to put the Canes back on!

I have a Slavin jersey from before he had the A. I can't find anywhere online to buy a patch to iron or sew on. I live in Florida, so making it to the store isn't an option. Can I get one anywhere else?

I have a single ticket for tonight in the 300’s, happy to give it away for free since it’s so last minute.

If you haven't done this already, go to https://www.directv.com/newtvpromise/ for a couple of purposes:

1. Check the status of HHN on DirecTV (no meaningful update yet)

2. Get a bill credit for the "frustration of losing your channel"
