I grant you this is an anecdote but I've never met an actual human who made a fortune off of bitcoin. The guy who fixed my basement leak offered to be my crypto advisor though.

I know one guy who got interested early on, and made about 20K before selling because he knew it was a bubble. I believe he spent most of it on a really fancy piano
