Why man veil their face?

Originally it was for protection from the desert sun and sand, culturally speaking it also implies things like entering adulthood and social status

Seems to be the same logic behind why one would assume a man in uniform to be more senior, I assume?

It also implies women can't go outside as they are not prepared to travel on the desert. No?

It's implied that there's nothing prohibiting women from covering their faces for protection, while the men MUST cover their faces regardless of desert or wind conditions.

I believe that men hide faces If there is elder males / highly respected inviduals around. If they show you full face, you are not respected.

Also, desert.
