careeradvice Getting back to coding

I am Computer Science graduate and used to code, python as my specified coding but for few years i left coding and involved in digital marketing. But some reason i want to go back again to coding. For my start, do i go back to python or start with something else?

I love the Python programming language. It’s my default too. I don’t know for sure, but I imagine Golang is also pretty similar. Python is my default as well, but I just started learning Golang. But yeah, Python is still relevant.

go back to python, you already know the basics and the real challenge is getting your coding muscle back, not picking a shiny new language

Go back to python, you now have the opportunity to learn basic generative AI stuff like LLM integrations, RAG chatbots as well.

If you are trying roles and then learn the fundamentals of the language you are coding, use conding agents for programming and understand systems. Because in a few years the programming languages become obsolete. But if you really want to code code then any language is fine, you can make different things with different languages

i’d go back to python since you already have the foundation, and build one tiny thing you’d actually use instead of trying to relearn all of computer science at once
