General question Ok to drink or dump.
Hey guys hey. I have some grape vines that produce grapes that I have in the past made wine with. I crushed these grapes put them in a carboy with some campton Talbots letting it sit then picturing the yeast. It bubbled great for a couple days. Racked it. Then racked it again. Couple weeks later I got this growth on the top. Does anyone recognize it? Is it trash or safe to drink?

Hi. You just posted an image to r/winemaking. All image posts need a little bit of explanation now. If it is a fruit wine post the recipe. If it is in a winery explain the process that is happening. We might delete if you don't. Thanks.

Bruh. I think it just moved. In the still photo you posted. Dump that shit before it starts talking to you and secretly planning an escape.

Dumping is just another form of escape! Are you it? I am on to you!

My dumping escapes are largely just modern renditions of one Al Bundy’s signature move: tucking the day’s good news snugly under an arm and swagger strolling to the jon. On to that you may be. Possibly. But onto me, well, dream on, mellowmarv. That you are not.

I refuse to drink anything that has a higher IQ than I do… so I’ll need to pass on this one.

It's a pellicle infection. It's not the end of the world. You may or may not enjoy the flavor changes it causes.
