I just don't get it all too commonly, like at all. Even if I Steamcleaner sometimes they'll just keep trying to drag the game out either way.

Played since 2016 (gvg) but last balance patches only for standard. 3 decks now is all we see, Azalina is the worst one to face, then its ticktock and quest DH. New expansion wont change anything. Its just depressive to face Azalina, better taking a break and see if its nerfed later. Playing fun decks is also miserable because Azalina steal your cards and play them 3-6 turns earlier than you. Reaching legend rank doesnt rly give any achievement either

On a new server. Crafted and used the best deck in Wild. Had to spend some money(feel a little bit vexed and lil bit surprised) , and sadly i needed to disenchant some cards, in order to obtain the required amount of dust, to craft my deck that i want.
It's fun to have win streak on ranked ladder. Just a short escape lol.
I haven't lost/break this win streak yet.

I want to get the 12 wins in a row achievement. Think it'd be pretty impossible in standard cause I'm near 11x mmr there.
My wild mmr, however, is pretty low. 2 years ago or so I got to gold 10 maybe, and my star bonus rn is x2.
What would be the most consistent deck to get it? The obvious answer would be "just look up best deck on hsguru" but I figure the best deck at top1k legend may not be the best deck in my dumpster mmr.
Been looking at HL shadow priest myself, seems consistent. Suggestions welcome.

Just looking through the journal to see how many wins i had and how far i am off 20k. However, noticed on the other page where class wins are, I'm only at c.9k. That means c.7k of my ranked wins came in Duels!
I miss that mode, I really do...

Hi, I've been getting back into the game recently after many years away, and had a couple questions about Wild. I've always enjoyed non-rotating formats with more powerful options (big Modern fan in MTG), so I typically played Wild. What should I be looking to build as I'm just getting back into the format? (ideally something budget that I can build without having all the resources of someone who's been playing for years and years). Additionally, what have been the modern adjustments to the way the game is played/the wild meta? Taking a brief look around it seems like a lot of the old archetypes I'm familiar with have been power crept pretty bad.

I think this would still be powerful enough to want to use at 3 mana. Turn 2 is NUTS!
Outside of decks that are going for tribal synergies or have very specific game plans (like OTKs), why WOULDN’T you include this card in every Warrior deck until the game’s servers finally shut down
Warrior has been my favorite class historically, and I love armor-themed decks, so I’m very stoked for this card. But its use cases extend so far beyond decks that want to leverage having lots of armor to do powerful stuff. It’s just all around disgusting

Sure was fun and interactive having my opponent still constantly copying my homework either way because of Interwined Fate and Identity Theft. Play Loatheb against them? Unshackle Soul still was played for 1 mana. My opponent found my Sargeras way before me and copied it w/ Power Word: Synchronize. They even copied my Tamsin's Phylactery and despite silencing their Soothsayer, they had a full board with the deathrattle from it because of them copying my spell.
Now I've been winning a lot with TickTock. But losing to standard imbue Aza thief priest was bs annoying and infuriating. I still can't stand the stupid bs designs on Azalina Soulsever and Mysterious Visitor overall.
They're not the only outliers that need nerfs in wild. Questline DH's cheap draw package, directly nerf the questline again somehow or Aranna Thrill Seeker, but definitely target directly nerfing the cheap draw cards instead. I mean, I died to 3-4 Remnant of Rage because it was copied because ot Felosophy and died to them drawing a shitton because of Aranna sending all the fatigue damage to my face.
They could also directly nerf The Demon Seed or outright ban it again. Not sure how you nerf TickTock, honestly... But it definitely also needs to be directly nerfed again somehow. Fix the damn interactions with Reckless Apprentice in imbue mage already. For fucks sakes, I died because I had 2-3 minions on my board and this has constantly happened to me countless times.

I loved the original version (pre 8 mana Reno nerf) version of Wheel of Death, but I was wondering if anyone knew / had some non throw Wheel of Death decks. Tried searching the usual places but wasn't coming up with anything recent.

I've been playing thief reno priest to legend this month and went all the way from 200 to 500 facing aggro after aggro. Being reno I almost auto win against reno warrior and reno druid, but those decks are scarce now. I personally think aggro decks are boring so I always refuse to switch to aggro, but losing over and over to aggro is not fun either. I then realized that thief priest is actually responsible for the lack of midrange and control decks in the meta because I have a good edge over slow decks despite running only one visitor. After this it is a negative feedback loop that aggro kill thief priests, because I have never faced another thief priest after legend. Personally other thief priest is my favorite matchup because of the random stuff we can throw at each other, and how games can end in an insane way. I still remember there was one game where 6 yoggs were played. Anyways enough of my yapping, I have two questions:
edit: I tried a thief priest deck on hsguru, that was disgusting, and I totally agree with what anyone has to say about it. I guess I was being a greedy little schmuck by stuffing all the theotar amanthul and mutanus in my old reno deck. Also explains why my mirror matchups were always a chaotic mess.

Been playing the budget elementals deck cause it was something I came up with before starting wild (a far worse version ofc) and it’s been going well! Obviously not the best deck in the room but not 20k dust either :) (feels better than pirates which I was struggling with)
Wild is so cool! Some play patterns are frustrating to play but that’s card games. Idk what “competitive” deck I’ll go for but felt a lot better than standard imo
