Do Westies like to jog?

I love Maltese pups, but my husband insists on a “sporty” dog. Will a Westie be able to scratch that itch?

Personally I too was not particularly sporty when I was little we grew up together and I was with him most of the time then as I got older I started going out so I took him with me and he loved to skate with me or run alongside on big downhills when he was 14 and almost 15 unfortunately we had to stop around at least April 2025 but I had promised him that in the summer at the end of the evening we would go go for short walks but unfortunately he died in May he would have been 15 in July rest in peace🕊️♥️🐕
