Adding Schacht Standard Loom treadles?

Hi,

Tonight I came into possession of a used Schacht 45” standard loom. I’m very excited about it, but it is a 10 treadle model. I see that Schacht sells individual treadles… has anyone tried to update a 10 treadle loom to a 12 treadle? Is this crazy?

If they sell it as a kit and you have room, it should be do-able. Besides the treadles, you would need a longer steel rod and spacers. You front floor level bar will need to be drilled to accept the longer rod/end caps
