Looms Hand-built warping board

Post image

You can just, like, be a silly little guy and carve silly things into your own handmade warping board.😛

Looks great, provided the spaces between the dowels on the sides is wide enough for your hand to pass freely.

DIY and whimsy are good for the soul 🥰

One solution to having the pegs so close together is to use a warping paddle.

It can also make warping faster by allowing you to warp multiple ends at once while still being able to make a cross correctly for each individual end.

Also, a ball winder is handy for warping with multiple ends at once.

I've been really happy with my Schacht warping paddle, but any one will do.

The pegs are actually over 3” apart - plenty of room! But appreciated!

All is fair in love and warp is top-tier craft room humor.
