I never got to experience that one so it truly felt special to feel like I got my own version of it!

Maybe consider typing what the spoiler is in context to game wise?

I think anyone who would want to read it already knows what the spoiler is from "ending of act 1".

I meant the other game spoiler not EXP33.. I like many haven't seen that happen because it hasn't happened in the modern games and I didn't grow up playing FF.

I mean... sure I guess. I think that's the single most famous thing about FF though, some things are so old or well known that they're not really considered spoilers anymore. Same thing with Luke's father or Dumbledore. They probably could have put FF7 before the spoiler though.

If a story is currently releasing for multiple new generations of gamers it can't and won't hurt someone to do a quick spoiler warning even if they think it's not a spoiler. People always act like it takes a ton of effort to spoiler tag something. It literally costs seconds and doesn't change anything for anyone else other than not ruining an experience for a person who hasn't experienced it before. Also, it's one thing if it's something 20 years ago that has no remakes, reboots, or new content. But FF7 Remake hasn't even got to this part. It's not even out yet.

Same with a person that posted a Chainsaw Man spoiler to me the other day. The manga just ended this year. Some people prefer to watch anime not read manga. And they made a stink about adding a spoiler tag and never ended up doing it and it was a massive spoiler.

But the new FF7 isn't the same game and doesn't follow exactly the same events, nobody knows if it's even going to happen. The entire point is that events can unfold differently. It's legitimately a "spoiler" for something almost 30 years old.

I guess I wouldn't know that. Is there a good way to see the comparison of the games? I assumed they were pretty close to the original because if they aren't people usually get up in arms about it. I think that specific thing will happen though, seems pretty important to me.

Ironically I can't really explain it to you without spoiling the remake lol. But to keep things vague, the new games are a pretty unique case in that they're intended to be both a modern retelling of the story for newcomers while also being something truly new to the old fans who already know the original plot - it gets meta and plays with what the player is already supposed to know. So even if you know / get spoiled on the OG game, it doesn't ruin the experience when you play the remake, it might even enrich it.
