Discussion / Question What game is this for you?

Post image

Honestly for me it's Life is Strange: True Colors. Love that game to death, an incredible story and soundtrack, but it seems like a story that just doesn't vibe well with a lot of people. Listen to the soundtrack though, absolutely increible.

I typically say that its an adventure focused around a boy trying to save his friends against Darkness, getting help from Donald and goofy and sometimes Mickey is there

"Darkness hearts friendship darkness light light darkness friendship!" -Average KH dialogue

The nonsense plot is part of the charm.

I recommend this anyway but give the warning that it is nonsense but it's too charming to pass up.

What? You can't explain why Donald knows Zettaflare? The universe shattering spell only Bahamut and him knows? The plot is easy too. Just boil down what hearts are, what nobodies are, what Xehanort and all of the variations of him there are, what organization XIII is, and why every character across 10+ games are relevant to the plot. Oh and there's Goofy and King Mickey too!

If I try and explain KH lore to anyone I usually get as far as “and Mickey Mouse is the king…” before I completely lose them.

Best I can do is describe the main fighting mechanics then a really deep dive into gummi ships.
