Does anyone have any advice for the first test in prof Verma’s class. I find it really hard to follow along and understand and he hasn’t really said what the test will be like on really on.

I just didn't want to be the only one and stick out like a sore thumb lol.

As the title suggests, I’m currently considering enrolling in the part-time online MBA Program at UNB.

I’m currently in my early 30’s working full-time as an engineer. My employer has a pretty decent continuing education program, and will more than likely be covering my tuition costs. I’m mostly curious about the workload, professors, and overall program difficulty.

Any advice or feedback from people who have taken the program?

I am a freshman at UNB. For my computer science class, I made a mistake by using AI on a weekly homework assignment. I used it to code some of my parts, and my professor spoke with me about it. I admitted to my offense, and my professor said that she will be reporting this to the university. At present, I am waiting for follow-up from the registrar. I genuinely regret this all and I will never touch AI ever again. But I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and how did u deal with it? Any advices plz?

I am a UNB staff member who cares a lot about helping students find friends and activities. I see questions around this coming up a lot (I *just* replied to a question on this, but I thought I would share it as its own post)

Two things I could point you towards are UNB Nerd Club (see Discord link below). This is a 'club' I started to help those with nerdy interests (gaming, cartoons, anime, etc) find each other. I always think that connecting with others with similar interests is a good way to find friends.

The other option are activities offered by the Positive Mental Health Team. These are student-led groups run in cooperation with Counselling Services. They offer weekly recurring events (at UNBF there is a crochet group, bedazzling group and a creative group). These groups are on both campuses.

I've been studying for the biology 1001 exam thats tomorrow, and just wanted to ask if anyone knew exactly what type of questions would be on the test and what I should focus studying on. I'm really confused by all the free energy and enzymes stuff and don't really understand it all that well. My prof said some questions would be straight recall, and some would e application based. Anyone know what application based might mean?

Why the hell is this course so fucking hard 😭😭😭 . The first exam was kinda hard, there are pop quizzes and we are being tested on talks that the prof is gonna do outside of class

I am currently going to UNB and my student loans/grants did not cover everything. I received emergency bursary and am waiting for the normal bursaries to get processed.

I am on a payment plan of $2,249.92 due on the 15th of this month and also November and December. This months payment is coming up, it's going to be rough. Hopefully if I can make it, I'll get a job to pay November and December payments.

Hi everyone, I am a UNB Fredericton alumnus with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. With the fall term underway, I am gauging interest to see if anyone is looking for tutoring in MATH 1003 or MATH 1503. I am considering taking on at least one student for regular, in-person tutoring in Fredericton.

I have 15 years' experience tutoring math, and I have tutored these courses many times. For those who need extra help, I do offer full course lectures as well as notes, midterm and exam reviews.

Please note, in order to maintain academic integrity we can discuss concepts on assignments, but I cannot do the problems given.

I am typically available Friday afternoon and evenings, as well as Saturday and Sunday from 5 onward.

I could possibly meet monday or tuesday before 3 with enough notice.
