Total superheroes. They show up after the place is on fire just to shoot some fancy videos? Chechen vibe or what.

Burning oil plants make a great background for a hardcore rap video about how Russia will win the war soon (TM) (probably in three days)

they were in good time to help shoot down drones, but had to make stops along the way to make some instagram posts...

Maybe ran out of gas. I hear it's in short supply.

Smells a little like "see boss, we were protecting ourselves as decreed, no windows... please?"

Because the officers on duty are better off making a decision and moving pieces on the board than be accused of idleness during emergency.

They all know it’s pointless but prison rules are inherently pointless. The only objective is to find and secure power, at all costs. This means displaying urgency under fire, even if that display is…of dubious effectiveness.

Shoot the fire.

To keep them safe from falling debris while Ukraine burns the next target.

wow. so russia talks about all the fancy S300, S400, S500, Pancer and such. But in reality, these are bunch of pick up trucks. They cannot even make own pickup trucks.

I love watching the drones flying into those best in the world air defence systems and blowing up

Those look like 2000s and 2010s Toyotas

Seems ignorant to be wasting fuel like that. A day late and dollar short I would say.

u/theglobalnomad 8h ago

A dollar, or approximately 85 rubles short*

So Russia is now sourcing its field artillery from the Taliban 🤣

Isn't this shutting the gate after the dog escaped?

Just more targets for the Ukrainians.

They gonna shoot the fires out?

It would be hilarious if there was footage of those trucks stranded by the side of the road because they ran out of fuel. Perhaps, even better if they didn't maintain the vehicles and they started throwing piston rods due to lack of oil.

That's a VIP with an armed escort. Someone very high up is coming in person.

Whats the hand gesture you see near the end of the clip?

Are those the clapping machines that have been welcoming the drones? They are very effective at cheering.

Arriving a little too late

I don't get it? Is it like a local militia? Well if they've fallen apart this far, I can honestly say I'm very happy.

Probably there to film propaganda videos. Something along the lines of "These brave patriots, put up a heroic fight, stopping most of the drones and missiles."

u/mortisthewise 6h ago

They were just filling up before all of it could burn....

u/Canmand 6h ago

Looks like their running from.

Fat lot of good that will do.

The insurgents had this technology in Iraq

No better than Afghanistan. So much for being a super power. I’m surprised they don’t end up shooting into residential buildings.

The famed one-day late Akhmat Drone Destroyer Division - these technicals are utterly useless - noise makers - no stable platform for gun mount and you need a very good eye and understanding of ballistics to shoot down a drone going at speed.
