Gun disposal

I have an old .22lr bolt action that I bought very cheaply. The bolt now just falls to bits and refuses to go back together. The rifle is so old it will be more than what I paid for it to source another bolt.

Do Police Scotland accept broken guns for disposal? How much would an RFD charge for disposal?

You will probably find the local force will take it and remove it from your cert, just give them a ring first so they can get the right people to take it on the day you drop it off. I wouldn't just rock up to a station 😅
