Facebook DMs Date Gone Wrong - Not Sure How to Feel?

I met a woman on FB dating and we agreed to get mexican food.

I drove over, walked up, and she instantly took offense to my nose piercing. (They are in my profile pictures).

We were both hungry and I offered to still pay for dinner despite her distaste, but she noped out and said she was leaving.

I’m genuinely not sure how to feel. Admittedly, it did hurt my feelings slightly. On the other hand, I’ve also just learned not to care anymore.

I guess I’m just sharing this because I’d like to hear other opinion.

I'm 29f, and the stuff some people post makes me SOOOOOO glad I'm asexual/single.

I do not have what it takes to enter the dating game...it's like the emotional equivalent of playing Russian roulette while waltzing through a minefield.

I’m 42m and newly single, and I am going to get used to being single I guess dating these days seems like a lot of work.
