Maybe Ukraine hit them on purpose before the US midterms

It is actually way funnier. Russia hit Ukraines data centers before that, so this is just retaliation. But Russias geniuses forgot that their data centers are very few and super concentrated near Moscow. Thus easy to hit.

So in a way PutlerSS shot their own leg.

No-no-no-no, that's not the funny part. The funny part is Russia outlawed companies hosting data outside of Russia, so Russian companies can't even choose a data center outside of Russia. 5 years ago the impact of Ukraine's drone strike wouldn't have been as lethal as it is right now

They made the entire economy into a handful of sitting ducks and then started a campaign of bombing Ukraine's data centers

These people are imbeciles. Like I'm not hyperbolizing it, they are not just morons, they are developmentally challenged

The number of Russian frontline casualties tells you all you need to know about their state of mental capability.

I mean it's over a century of negative selection. So I guess everything checks out. But every time something like this happens I just... If I had an ounce of that power and influence, I would've been evil far more efficiently. And I imagine most people I know would've been too. Are we actually lucky that the monsters are so cartoonishly dumb?

Yes, I also think we are lucky that evil attitudes also tend to correlate with dumb/selfish/shortsighted attitudes.

We're not going to improve things by relying on luck, though.

I know it was supposed to be an insult/joke but vodka consumption has been in decline in 2000s and 2010s. And then 22 happened... But yeah, a lot of FAD, and you can literally see it
