I’m curious if it is effecting subreddits.

That’s an AI slip infographic that the creator can’t explain the methodology for.

Yes but it says something that they want to be true, so that's what they'll believe. They'll just ignore the fact that all the mods posting screenshots of their actual subreddit stats show zero difference in traffic. Including ones like r/Europe, which would be a huge target for these bots and would absolutely show a noticeable difference.

Where did these visitor counts come from/what plugin or website can show you that?

Thanks! The data is in hourly chunks, in UTC, from Syften’s public subreddit stats pages, which update daily. It counts posts and comments combined.
This pass covered 1,221 subreddits: a broad selection of popular subs plus extra US/European political and regional communities. 968 met the activity and data requirements for the comparison. So fairly broad coverage, but definitely not all of Reddit.
Saw posts discussing the topic, figured I’d put my Chat subscription to use.

https://syften.com/reddit - The data isn't public but that OP had access to the data so decided to do some digging.

Ah, that makes sense... it's a paid service.

Thanks for the explanation.
