Has anyone tried SVF stem cell treatment in Korea?
I’m in my 50s and had a SMAS facelift about 10 years ago which held up nicely for quite a while, but lately it feels like I’m just keeping up with touch ups every few months and I’d really like something that helps my skin itself over the long run, since going under for a second facelift at my age is more than I want to take on. SVF stem cell treatment has come up several times while I’ve been reading about other options, but as I understand it the FDA hasn’t approved it (educate me if I’m wrong, so the few places in the US that offer it seem to be in a bit of a gray area and I’d rather not go that route.
I’ll already be in South korea for a couple of other procedures, so it seems sensible to look into SVF while I’m there. The two clinics I see mentioned most are 365mc Hospital and VIP plastic surgery, and 365mc seems to be mainly known for liposuction but apparently has a dedicated stem cell center at their gangnam location, which makes some sense since they’re already working with fat, though I’m not sure a lipo clinic is the right place for something on my face. VIP seems to focus more on anti aging, but I don’t feel I know enough yet to make a decision. If anyone here has had SVF done in Korea, I’d be grateful to hear where you went and whether you felt it was worth it. Thank you in advance
