QUESTION RSI Mission details missing - help please
Canβt read mission names or descriptions and want to know what mission I need to get the MkV rental.
Who issues the mission and how much is the mission worth - hopefully theyβll only be one!

DISCUSSION Wikelo Superheavy Armor contracts
I'm trying to hand in my Wikelo contract for the Super Heavy Armor, so
1 BUL-H4 Helmet
1 BUL-H4 Armor
1 H4-PBF Ammo Carrier
I have the Blueprint for the Helmet and Armor, and Wiklo accepts crafted versions of these, I do not have the Blueprint for the Ammo Carrier, but have a looted one from the Siege mission, but Wikelo will not accept it at all.
Will he only accept crafted version of everything? Is there a way around it?

DRAMA I tried mining in the Aaron belt today. Totally unplayable due to missing signature markers
I could see scan clouds and signatures. Heck, scanning was super fast. But the markers were absent.
Couldn't see where they were, exactly, in space, nor distance.
Tried for a good 10 minutes and just gave up.

FLUFF Bishops trenchcoat should be the U.E.E Environment Coat we're still waiting on.
Hero item with the asset made, and it'd make sense Bishop would be using one. The old concept for the coat is pretty much the trench coat already in game and doesn't fit the UEE style anymore.

I'd say they look like dual S6 at least in the SQ42 trailer, and I really hope that's true because the current dual S5 are pretty meh.

DISCUSSION Constellation Mark IV Owners Are You Going To Keep Your Ship?
With the Connie Mark IV getting retired, I am curious how many of you are going to keep it? I have been planning on upgrading my Connie to an Asgard when able, but now that I know the Mark IV is not going to be available on the store or in game it has given me pause. I don't love the idea of not being able to purchase it in game. I don't want to fly it as a daily driver any more but I also don't want to never own it again. I've had it almost 10 years. I am curious if anyone else is keeping it only because it isn't being sunset.

DISCUSSION FPS Weapon Ideas
So let's talk about some fps weapons for a change. Especially about brands.
Kastak Arms I feel is missing 2 things from their lineup. An lmg and an energy pistol.
Presumably both of these will be plasma to make them different from the other offerings in the verse. Plasma in general seems to behave more closely to ballistic just with slightly better stats. The Coda pistol is cool, love a good hand cannon, but it doesn't make sense to be their only pistol offering. Kastak is dedicated to arming the masses and a pistol is the most affordable and accessible option. So a powerful handgun makes sense but 6 shots isn't practical for the average individual. A plasma pistol seems right up their alley to still have a relatively strong pistol with a better capacity.
The lmg I just find odd they haven't made since again the company is about arming the people to defend themselves on the cheap. Yet they don't have a high capacity light support weapon.
Next we have Grey's Market. So far we have an AR, an LMG, an smg, and a pistol shotgun thing.
I would also count the Deadrig shotgun as an Grey's weapon even though it isn't officially from what I can tell.
So he is missing a marksman/sniper rifle and ideally a more traditional pistol but not the end of the world if he doesn't. Grey is an odd man to predict how he would make any of these weapons.
We have a space ak that shoots ballistic and energy to the shotgun pistol to energy smg made from a presumable mining laser gadget. So who knows what spin be will put on a sniper rifle.
But what weapons are you hoping for? Any ideas for Grey's theoretical sniper?

QUESTION Anybody still flying the 400i?
It's a yacht, let's face it. It's stats suck balls. It's firepower, laughable; the cargo capacity is woeful; and it's not that fast when you need to get the fuck out of anywhere in a hurry.
But there's something about this bird that makes me never want to sell it. For me, it's such a nice ship to live in. Two decks, cosy living spaces and a lux interior. And that, at the end of the day, is all I want.
What holds you back from melting it?

DISCUSSION The Constellation Mk V Has the Exact Same Problem as the Ford Mustang Mach-E.
We can examine the fascinating real-life drama of the Ford Mustang 'Mach-E' to understand essentially what has happened to the RSI Constellation. The drama is quite literally the same.Β
Iβll demonstrate this via quotes from various news outlets about the Mustang, but tweaked for the Constellation.
Make no mistake, the RSI Centaurus is a GREAT ship. It will sell well, and owners will be pleased.Β
But, is the 'RSI Constellation Mk V Centaurus' an 'RSI Constellation,' simply because CIG gave them similar names and "vibes"?
(Note: I know this is just a game. But let me have my fun analyzing JPEGs for the heck of it.)
ββββββ
But first, the Drama:
The Mustang Mach-E stretched the Mustang name beyond its historical definition.Β
- "Mustang" defined a 3500lb low-slung two-door sports-coupe with a long hood, short deck, and unique vertical triple tail lights.Β
- βMustang Mach-Eβ defines a 5000lb high-riding five-door electric family crossover with a short hood, long deck, and vertical triple tail lights.
The Mach-E abandons the original fundamental formula. Cheekily, you could say, "Just because they added similar vertical-style rear taillights does not make the Mach-E a Mustang."

Likewise
The Constellation Centaurus stretched the Constellation name beyond its historical definition.
- βConstellation Mk IVβ defined a 446,000 kg, 63.5-meter-long, 27.8-meter-wide medium gunship and freighter with a long, narrow-shaped profile, four prominent engine nacelles, and an integrated snub fighter.
- βConstellation Mk V Centaurusβ defines a roughly 1,611,000 kg, 82.5-meter-long, 47.5-meter-wide gunship and freighter with a broad, wedge-shaped profile, four swallowed engine nacelles, and an integrated snub fighter.
The Centaurus abandons much of the original visual formula. Cheekily, you could say, "Just because they retained four engines and an integrated snub fighter does not make the Centaurus a Constellation."

In both cases, the manufacturers retained recognizable features while fundamentally changing the products' proportions and design identities.
Below are adaptations of real criticism surrounding the Mustang Mach-E, with the Constellation name substituted to reinforce the comparison:
ββββββ
1. The original identity
βThe Mustang/Constellation was intended to go against the flow of the competition. Turning the Mustang/Constellation into an SUV/sub-Capital Ship is not going against the flow. It is not being innovative, nor is it keeping true to the Mustang/Constellationβs roots. This car/ship may turn out to be a great product, but it does not deserve to wear the pony/Constellation emblem.β
ββββββ
2. The loss of identity
βThat feeling of a loss of identity may be the strongest argument against the pony/Constellation badge being slapped onto the face of the Mach-E/Centaurus.β
ββββββ
3. A great product isn't necessarily a great successor
βThe Mach-E/Centaurus isn't a failure. Let me be clear about that. It's a capable, handsome, well-executed car/ship that a lot of people drive/pilot happily. My neighbor seems perfectly content with it. But the EV/aerospace industry needed more than capable and well-executed. It needed visionary.β
ββββββ
4. The commercial argument
βFord/RSI will rub it in everyoneβs face this car/ship was successful. But does it really have to come to this? Sacrificing something just because you want to turn a profit? I guess itβs just business at the end of the day. We get that. But itβs extremely disappointing and disheartening.β
ββββββ
What happened to that iconic Constellation look?
While the Centaurus is not on the website yet, we can look at how CIG describes the Constellation: "Constellations are beloved by smugglers and merchants alike because they are modular, high powered⦠and just downright iconic-looking."
Unfortunately, the Centaurus looks much more like the rest of the modern RSI lineup.
It has traded much of the original Constellation's distinctive silhouette for the broader, wedge-shaped design language found throughout RSI's newer ships.
At a glance, you can now say, "That's RSI" but you can no longer say, "That's a Constellation." It's definitely lost much of that iconic look.

ββββββ
From an engineering and design standpoint, is the Centaurus a true successor?
In business, product development, and automotive manufacturing, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is best classified as a brand extension into a new product category, rather than a generational successor to the traditional Mustang.
By contrast, the transition from the sixth-generation Mustang to the seventh-generation Mustang is a generational product evolution, retaining the established vehicle concept while updating its design, engineering, and technology.
A genuine generational successor preserves meaningful continuity with its predecessor's defining design DNA, architecture, and purpose.
The Centaurus does retain significant functional continuity with the Mk IV. Both are multi-crew ships capable of combat, cargo hauling, and carrying a snub fighter. Though, many ships can do this.
However, the Centaurus departs substantially from the Mk IV's defining proportions, visual architecture, and recognizable silhouette.
That makes it difficult, in my opinion, to consider the Centaurus a genuine design successor to the Mk IV, even though it continues many of the same gameplay roles.
In my personal opinion, the RSI Centaurus is effectively a new, much larger ship design that was branded as a "Constellation Mk V" to inherit the established nameplate's marketing value.
Just as the Mach-E is an excellent electric crossover that is not truly a traditional Mustang, the Centaurus is a formidable, modern multi-crew ship that simply does not feel like a true Constellation.
ββββββ
So what should it look like then?
I'm not a designer. I would love to see a designer take a stab at reimagining a true successor. I think what is missing the most from the MkV are the front wing-looking things (VTOL housings).
I did a slight edit to the edit that u/Zeresec already did. Reduce the width slightly and add some kind of cool wing-things. That way it won't just be another dorito.

ββββββ

ββββββ
So, is the RSI Constellation Mk V Centaurus actually a Constellation?
Technically correct, but historically and conceptually debatable.
- By official designation: The Centaurus is a Constellation because RSI, which owns the nameplate, designated it one.
- By vehicle classification: The Centaurus is a large 'dorito', not a traditional 'rocket'.
- By design heritage: It departs from the Constellation's defining proportions, architecture, and characteristics.
The distinction is between brand identity and product identity.
RSI has the authority to call the Centaurus a Constellation. That does not automatically make it a faithful continuation of the ship concept that established the Constellation's identity.
Calling the Mach-E a Mustang is factually correct. Calling it a true Mustang is a subjective judgment about heritage and design continuity. Loyalists will always side with heritage and continuity.
Arguing that the Centaurus is not a true Constellation is defensible.
ββββββ
Why all the heartbreak?
Because the Centaurus is essentially a different ship that's borrowing the name and vibes of the Constellation, just like the Mach-E borrowed from the Mustang. But there's one critical difference.
Ford continued to develop genuine generational successors to the original Mustang, making improvements over the years while retaining the recognizable two-door sports car that loyalists love. The Mach-E expanded the Mustang family without replacing the traditional Mustang.
CIG, on the other hand, has introduced the Mk V Centaurus as the next generation of the Constellation, without delivering an equivalent generational evolution of the original Mk IV design. A gold-standard pass is NOT a generational successor.
And that's the real disappointment! Constellation lovers are upset that this fundamentally different design occupies the place where they expected a true successor to the original Constellation.
They didn't want the Constellation name attached to a different ship that shared "vibes" with the original. We wanted to see what the Constellation itself could become after another generation of engineering and design improvements, a true Mk V.
The Centaurus may be an excellent ship.
But for those who loved the original Constellation, it leaves a very particular void.
TLDR:
Mustang Mach-E is a great car, but it's not a true "Mustang".
Connie Centaurus is a great ship, but it's not a true "Connie".
EDIT: 10/12/26 - Added a refined version of the original edited image to "image" what a MkV Connie could have looked like.

ARTWORK Gallant Rifle build - Finished!
I think I'm ready to call my Gallant Rifle build complete, barring some paint touchups and some weathering (particularly on the barrel). I may also replace the clips on the upper, but that's TBD.
Almost entirely printed in ASA on a Creality K2 Plus. Some detail parts printed on an Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra. The model itself was created in Autodesk Fusion by me, based on game assets (used only for reference, not in the print) and other art I found online. Painted in a mix of Tamiya acrylics and Alclad II metallic lacquers.

DISCUSSION When will we see some form of modernization for the Prospector interior?
I love the prospector, I really do. But after spending some time in the Hull A & Fortune, I can't help but feel just how incredibly dated the Interior looks. The Mole quickly received an update, would it be too much to ask for to quickly update the interior with existing MISC assets? When will we be able to see some form of rework?
I won't even touch on the UI, simply existing in this tin can is annoying enough...
