She came to us needing a little extra veterinary care (as in several thousand dollars, no such thing as a free cat!) After four(!) wound repairs she’s free of all bandages and stitches. Now she spends her days racing wildly around the house, bothering our elderly orange boy, and bringing me a dead mouse leaking guts from the basement. All in all a quality cat.

My SIC had an exciting weekend. I got out the fall clothes to wash/iron, put some fabric yardage on the sofa and popped the top on the fabric stash bins in the crawl space. Many new nap locations where tested!

this guy has been with us for a month now and is finally opening up a bit. he's happy to be in the same room but human contact is still iffy and he's a bit skittish. But today he finally let me pet his head and belly for a brief moment!! he also liked getting his head scratched with a tooth brush lol. really hope he warms up more soon! I'm in dire need of kitty cuddles but am being patient.
