I need help with/using Soundcloud Recommending the same songs over and over again in my mix. How to discover new music on this app?

I click on mix on Soundcloud but it just gives me the same songs but with slight changes like reverb or slowed.

Example: Every song is just SongA or SongA (slowed + reverb) or SongA. How to fix?

How to make it give me good recommendations that are new and fresh with the algorithm?

Try starting a Station from a different original track you actually like. In the app, open the three dots next to that track and choose Station. SoundCloud documents that here: https://help.soundcloud.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003565208-Stations-and-how-they-work

Compare stations from a couple of different artists. That gives you a way to check whether the repetition is tied to one starting track; it isn't a guaranteed fix for your existing mix.

For another route, check artists' reposts and follow people whose selections you enjoy. The Following tab shows new releases and reposts from accounts you follow, so you can explore those selections directly.

Which mix are you opening, and are you on Android or iPhone? The playlist name would help narrow down what's repeating.

I'm using it from web browser on Mac. When I go to homepage there are multiple mixes.

With images of songs I've liked. I'm new to this program so I only liked 7-8 songs

Ah, got you, you're on the website. To try a Station there, open a track you like, click the three dots underneath the player and choose Station. You can also start one from an artist's profile menu.

Since you're just getting started, I'd use search to find a few artists you enjoy, explore their reposts, then check Feed for releases and reposts from the people you follow. On the web, Feed is the Following feed; those homepage mixes are a separate route.

SoundCloud says its personalized suggestions use listening, likes and follows. Building those through music you actually enjoy gives it more to work with, but I can't tell from seven or eight likes why it's serving so many versions of the same song.
