Ooooo so vibey, makes me want to dance :D

u/dwarfzilla Jun 11 '26
Thank you! Backstory - I ran sound and played in bands in the 80's Dj'ed through the 90's. If you need a hand with anything on the mixing and mastering side, hit me up. I do a colab here and there but mostly in the studio these days, getting too old to be luggin all dat equipment and staying up until 3 am lmao 😉

all the stuff that hasn't come out just yet. it's always the way, because as you progress as a producer your stuff typically gets better and better. 😄
But of the released, probably this one https://on.soundcloud.com/pnk1jikQ6tWZpDV76e

u/Parvmaestro2030 Jun 11 '26
Just released this one yesterday. I have been working on my mix and vocals, and this is by far the best song in those terms so yeah, makes me the most proud.
3
u/jazuruhiiro Jun 11 '26
How long did it take to make?
2
u/Parvmaestro2030 Jun 11 '26
I mean it really took like a year to make, but that was just me putting stuff off, procrastinating, etc. I think if I hadn't done those things it wouldn't taken a month tops

I’m actually really proud of this one, i think i really got what i was going for. Explaining a panic attack and anxiety problems in a time i wasn’t doing well i guess. A personal one! I just make songs to clear my head but i’m happy with feedback tho!
Edit: and if someone can help me figure out my genre that would be great haha
3
u/Able_Bookkeeper2848 Jun 11 '26
Yooo this makes so much sense! My most recent is about anxiety also (:
3
u/Able_Bookkeeper2848 Jun 11 '26
And the slow down/ fade out at the end 🤩
3
u/Buckstain Jun 11 '26
Yes! The raising bpm towards the end is like your heartbeat racing, and then slowing down after! Nice that you felt it the way i intended it 🫶
3
u/LilRapscallionOg Jun 11 '26
I like the lil vibe i got going on and its also my most streamed song, lmk what yall think 🤝

Well for now it is a synthwave nod to depeche mode about being guilty and flattered in a relationship
I finally put out a song I wrote in 2023.
This song is about a relationship where I knew I wasn’t as attached as the other person. Their feelings made me feel flattered, but also deeply guilty at the same time. Staying was comforting, yet I knew it wasn’t fair, and leaving felt just as painful. I felt completely torn between holding on and doing the right thing. In the end, I knew I had to walk away to hurt them less—even if it meant facing that sense of escape alone.
The main inspirations were depeche mode, bronski beat and a little bit of billy idol.

My favorite to date is here. It was a project from the heart, a tribute to a beautiful talented friend who passed 13 years ago. Becky Sees Art Everywhere. I have adopted the philosophy of Rev Billy Gibbons that he learned from BB King- “play what you want to hear. “ thanks for listening
