Hello,
Right now i'm deciding between these two phones, iphone 17 selling 1900 usd in my country, s25 is selling 900 usd. I want to use 4-5 years, people saying s25 battery life and cameras worst compare to iphone, but price differences is too much.
What is your thougths on with these two phones?

Need help choosing a phone for ₹40–46k I've. I can stretch my budget to 50k only if it's worth it. I need a mobile that can last at least 5 years
Okay, so I need some guidance on buying a new phone.
I'm currently using POCO X5 Pro 5G, and it's been around 3 years. After just one year, it started heating up a lot, and the display began developing problems. Now, even the battery is swelling.
I was planning to buy a new phone during this sale, but prices have increased so much. I'll also check prices in the offline market today, as I might be able to get older models at lower prices there.
Here's what I'm looking for in a phone. I might sound like I'm asking for too much, but I really want a phone that can last me at least 5 years.
Brand: I don't want a phone from Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO because I've had bad experiences with them, including with other devices.
RAM and storage: 8GB/256GB minimum, but 12GB/256GB would be ideal.
Performance: Good hardware is important. I'd prefer an AnTuTu score of at least 1.2–1.3 million, preferably higher, as I want decent performance and enough headroom for the next few years.
Processor: I've heard that MediaTek processors are less powerful and tend to make phones heat up more than Snapdragon processors. Is that actually true? I'm open to either MediaTek or Snapdragon as long as the processor offers good performance and thermal efficiency.
Heating: This is one of my biggest concerns after my experience with the POCO X5 Pro 5G. I know some heating is normal, but I want a phone that manages heat well, especially during everyday use. My current phone gets extremely hot even when I'm just using YouTube or browsing the internet, even with a fan running nearby. It also lags badly and shuts YouTube down. That's why i don't use YouTube and have to use vidmate for more than a year. The same thing happens with the camera, and I frequently have to restart the phone. I don't play games, so I don't want to deal with these problems again.
Camera: The camera should be at least better than my current phone's. I love taking outdoor photos, especially portraits, nature shots, and pictures of landscapes.
Display and design: I'd strongly prefer a flat display because I think it looks more premium. A quad-curved display is acceptable if I have to compromise. I also like compact phones, and since I don't play games, I don't necessarily need a large screen. However, I'm willing to compromise on screen size if the phone is good in other aspects. Overall, I want something with a premium design.
Fingerprint sensor: An in-display fingerprint sensor is preferred.
Battery and charging: Battery life is important. My current phone has a 5,000mAh battery, so I don't want to compromise too much on battery capacity. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE has a 4,900mAh battery and 45W charging, and I'd also need to buy a charger separately. Even if I find it for around ₹46k in the offline market, I'm not sure whether the battery and charging would be sufficient for me.
Usage: I don't play games, but I use my phone a lot and multitask. I mostly use it indoors, but I do use it outdoors as well.
Some phones I've looked at so far are:
OPPO Reno14
OPPO Reno14 Pro
OPPO Reno15 C
vivo V60
vivo V70 FE
vivo X200 FE
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE
iQOO Neo 10 (my main concerns are its size and camera)
OnePlus 13s (I don't know why, but the black variant is showing up for under ₹45k while the green variant is listed above ₹70k)
OnePlus 13R
These are just some of the phones I've considered. Feel free to suggest other models that fit my requirements.
I'd really appreciate recommendations based on real-world experience, especially regarding heating, battery life, camera quality, and long-term performance. If you've used any of these phones, please share your experience.
Thanks!!

I'm getting the-
Nothing Phone 4a for 33.5k (6GB/128GB)
Poco F6 5G For 32k (12GB/256GB)
I'm confused because the Poco F6 is an old device (launched in 2024).
And the Nothing offers very less RAM&ROM compared to the Poco F6.
Please help me make a "WISE" decision.!!

Help me choose a phone
I'm deciding between:
Oppo Find X10 Pro Max
Xiaomi 18 Pro Max
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra / S27 Ultra
OnePlus 16 / 15
iPhone 18 Pro Max
What I need:
Battery: At least 8 hours of gaming, all-day use otherwise, and a battery that ages well
Software: About 5 years of updates, smooth with no lag
Display: The best or close to it
Performance: A chip that will still hold up in 5 years
Features: Plenty of useful extras
Camera: Excellent in all conditions
Which one would you pick, and why?

The times, they're a changing. It wasn't very long ago that I remember seeing even sub Rs. 5000 phones like Nokia One listed on the Flikpart and Amazon portals. But today, that segment has totally disappeared. Anything below 15k is either poor in specs, build quality or reputation. And by mistake if you do find anything from brands like Redmi, HMD or MotoG in that range, they will display either 'Out of stock' or 'Not deliverable to this pincode'. I even called a few retailers near me like Croma, Pai International and Vijay Sales, none of them stocked anything in the budget segment, at least in my region.
Something is deeply wrong with the electronics market, the big billion day sale alone can't cause such a massive crunch or shortage of supply. If rumors about TSMC shipments being diverted to AI manufacturers and causing shortages are true, this is nothing but a death knell to an entire segment of smartphones. This is a real travesty because this segment represents the middle-class and common folks of this country, that demographic to which a smartphone means source of happiness and daily utility, not just a necessary means to an end.
I really hope the tide turns back and budget phones return to the market soon - even though almost every single industry source and analyst is saying otherwise, that it might take years for the electronics market to adjust back to its earlier equilibrium.
Times like these also lay bare the vulnerability of our supply chains, the greatest oligarchy of all forms is in the chip making industry. There are only a handful of fabrication units like TSMC in Taiwan on which entire global supply of smartphones depends. How come nobody was ever able to see this single point of failure? How come we never thought of having a backup plan for this?

Hi everyone! I'd really appreciate some honest advice from people who have used both Samsung and iPhone, especially those who have switched from Android to iOS.
I've been using a Samsung Galaxy A70 for around 7 years, and before that, I also had an Android phone. So, I'm very used to Android and its interface. I'm not particularly loyal to any brand, but lately, I've been seriously considering switching to an iPhone.
WHY I'M INTERESTED IN AN IPHONE
I really like the camera, especially how vibrant the photos look and how good the low-light photography and videos seem to be. I like the overall design and premium feel, and I've always been curious about iOS. I'd like to experience using an iPhone at least once. I want a phone with a great camera, good battery life, and smooth performance that will last me around 3–6 years.
WHAT'S MAKING ME HESITATE
Navigation: I'm used to Android's navigation system, especially the back button and being able to switch between apps quickly. I'm not sure how comfortable I'll feel without a universal back button on iOS.
Ease of use: Android feels very natural to me, and I'm worried that iOS might feel less intuitive or more restrictive, at least initially.
Files and PDFs: I frequently download files, open PDFs, and share documents through different apps. I've heard that managing files and sharing them can be less straightforward on iOS.
Work-related use: I work in a hospital emergency department, so I use my phone frequently throughout my shifts. I need to be able to open the camera quickly, make calls, use the flashlight, switch between apps, and do everything with minimal hassle. Convenience and speed are very important to me.
Price: iPhones are expensive, and I don't want to spend that much money only to realize that I preferred my old Android experience.
Accessories: Having to purchase a charger or other accessories separately is another small downside.
The Apple ecosystem: I'm concerned that I might feel pushed toward buying other Apple products or that transferring files between devices could become inconvenient if I don't own a Mac.
Longevity: I want to keep my next phone for several years, so long-term software support, battery health, and overall durability are important to me.
I'm not afraid of learning a new interface. What worries me more is spending a lot of money on an iPhone and then regretting the switch because Samsung was simply more practical and convenient for my everyday use.
On the other hand, I don't want to dismiss the iPhone without trying it, especially because its camera is one of the main reasons I'm considering switching.
QUESTIONS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE USED BOTH
Did you find iOS frustrating after years of Android, or did you adapt quickly? Is managing files, PDFs, and sharing documents genuinely more inconvenient on iPhone? How does the iPhone compare with a recent Samsung flagship in terms of camera quality, battery life, and everyday performance? If you use your phone heavily for work, which operating system do you find more practical? If you switched from Samsung to iPhone, would you make the same decision again? If you switched back, why?
Given my situation, would you recommend getting an iPhone or sticking with Samsung?
I'd especially appreciate honest opinions from people who have actually used both, rather than recommendations based solely on brand preference.
Thanks!

The Nothing 4a 6gb + 128gb costs 37k on bbd on Flipkart. Is it worth the price? I've got recommendations for Samsung and Moto Egde 60/70 fusion, but as far as I've heard, Samsung has lag issues and the Moto ones are very unpredictable after 1/2 years, sometimes even earlier.
I'm kinda tight on budget rn. I had eyes for Nothing phone only, but the price increased so much within the last 3 months, I can barely get the ones with higher storage capacity (since I don't have credit + no device to exchange).
Do you recommend buying it?
Ps: My top priority isn't to get the best camera (altho, it's on the list), it's mostly good battery life + clean software + longitivity.
Would love hear your recommendations too. I don't know a lot about phones, so that'd be much helpful!

Hey everyone,
With the Galaxy A18 4G out now featuring the Exynos 1610, attention is turning to what Samsung will do with the upcoming Galaxy A18 5G. There is a lot of rumor speculation about the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, but I really hope Samsung considers the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 instead. Here is why it makes perfect sense for both Samsung and us as consumers:
Compromising on an older 6-series chip just for the name branding would be a mistake when Qualcomm has a modern, efficient 4nm powerhouse ready to go.
What does everyone else think? Would you prefer to see Samsung use the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, or do you think they'll stick with a rebranded 6-series chip? Let’s discuss!

Hello everyone, I currently use realme phone and am looking to get a new phone with at least 8gb/256gb specs with a good processor which can be used to play games like wuwa and a decent camera, battery life, etc. I am from Odisha, India. And I'm also willing to spend up to 34-35k if it has 12/512 ram and storage. I was looking at some realme and poco phones, but they're all either expensive or unavailable, would appreciate the help if someone can
