Found a missing iPad mini on flight to San Antonio

I was on a flight to San Antonio from San Francisco and my dad found an iPad mini, he doesn't trust flight attendants to do it so he took it with him and he didn't tell anyone.

I'm not sure how to get it to the right owner.

I wanted to post about it just in case it's important to whoever owns it.

Edit: for context my dad took it because my mom lost her phone once and when she checked it's location she found out an employee took it so now my dad doesn't trust employees to deal with lost and founds.

He was hoping someone would use the find my iPad feature and we could get it to them.

I posted this in case someone was looking for it. None of my family uses apple products so I don't know if there's a way to find the owner somehow through it.

Also now that the iPad is open the lock screen changed to a photo of two dogs, i don't know if that's important for identification

Edit 2: we're gonna go to the Apple store sometime soon and see if they can help us. Thank you to everyone in the comments who helped :)

How bad is this area?

I grew up on the southside, but not in this general area I currently live around city base. My lease is about to be up and I found these new apartments. They’re super cute brand new and honestly a great price. However, affordable, I know can come with a downside. There’s a sketchy property across the street that concerns me a little bit and a ditch on the other side. I’ve driven the area in the day and later at night and nothing seems too crazy. Just trying to figure out if it would be worth the price.

Gentle back tracing relaxation studio interest

Hi! I’m considering opening a small relaxation studio in San Antonio (near 78254) that focuses on gentle back tracing, soft-touch relaxation, and calming sensory touch.

This is not massage — no muscle work, no pressure, and strictly non‑sexual. It’s meant to be a soothing, ASMR-style experience for stress relief and comfort.

Sessions would be 30 minutes, and clients could choose light touch over clothing or on bare skin (undressing would always be done privately).

Would you book something like this? Why or why not? Honest opinions are appreciated!

a waitress with a crush

this is for one (possibly two) very specific people ! if you were the nice gentleman that came into a certain 24 hour breakfast franchise restaurant with a friend (Monday going into Tuesday, around 12:30AMish) , and then i sat you in a corner both, and you ordered a side of hashbrowns, and we complimented each others hair, if you are that guy: hiiii 🙃 you should totally come back and see me, I kinda have a crush on you. If you are not him but you happen to be his friend, tell your friend y’all’s waitress has a crush on him !! I’m scared I will never see this man again 🤣

Where in SA? Where are y’all getting fresh produce these days?

Maybe I’m losing my mind? Maybe I’m too picky? I feel like I’m running out of options. For context, I make pico de gallo often. It’s always in my fridge. I’m eating 6-8 tomatoes every week. So my needs are simple: Roma tomatoes, onion, jalapeño or serrano, cilantro, lime. I’ve been leaning on HEB and Amazon the past few months, but here lately they’ve absolutely failed me with subpar produce that doesn’t last, tastes off, or both.

Walmart is an automatic no. Their produce is meh. Whole Foods is expensive. Central Market is expensive and inconvenient, plus I’m hesitant cause at the end of the day it’s a dressed up HEB. I’ve considered resuming visiting Chicho Boys, but in the past their produce tended to not stay fresh very long.

Sprouts and Trader Joe’s are accessible to me, but I’ve never really leaned on them for produce. Is their produce generally fresh and good? Is it expensive? Are there any other places I should consider?

My wife and I have decided to give gardening a shot, cause the disappointment lately has been frustrating. ☹️

Where in SA? Trying to give back to the community. Where do I find homeless people in SA?

• Upvotes

This is my first time ever posting here—
A little backstory: partner and I moved from the East Coast to San Antonio roughly around 2 years ago. We then started our own small craft business doing markets and popups while also working part-time at a restaurant.

Through our business we’re able to move out from living in a garage, afford our very first car and a roof above our heads.

We’re just very grateful to get to where we are now and we’ve always wanted to give back to the community. We’re currently at a place where we can do so. It’s not a lot. But. We really just want to feed the homeless with some freshly-cooked, hot meals.
My question is more uhhhh, idk how to say this but where can we find them in groups? We want to be able to give as much as possible in one area so we don’t have to drive around too much looking and risking the food getting cold.

If you know any specific areas or neighborhoods please let me know🥹 this is going to be our first time doing it here in San Antonio, definitely not the last.
Any tips and insights are appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

Playground & Coffee

Looking for an indoor playground or cafe where my toddler can play and I can catch up with a girlfriend while we watch him. I know there’s a couple of indoor playground places but seems like some are either for older kids or others may not welcome lots of chatting?

Moving to SA apartments recommendations downtown

Hi! I am considering relocating to San Antonio next summer and I am between two apartments downtown:

  1. Heritage Plaza

  2. Agave Apartments

I will not have a vehicle (coming from NYC so I don't drive) and will need to be in an area that is easily accessible on foot/public transit. Thoughts on these apartment complexes? Also, if anyone has any other recommendations, please let me know.

The main amenities I am looking for in an apartment are:

- washer and dryer

- dishwasher

- pool

- gym

- rooftop

I need somewhere to go and get my mind off of things when I have nowhere to go and it’s late I get that you may not want to give up your cool spots to a whole bunch of people so please DM me if you feel necessary thank you. I’m going through a lot and it would be greatly appreciated so i can just be somewhere else alone rather being stuck depressed in my room

Moving to SA Apartment looking

Hi guys,

So I’m transferring to utsa fall 27, I need advice on where to stay! I live far too deep in downtown and my major is health sciences so I would need to be making a 30+ min commute everyday. Which will definitely not workout for me!

I think I’m just going to get an apartment, if you know any good ones please please let me know!!!

Pets Injured Cat in need @ New Territories Park

Post image

Cat is in the large dog side of the dog park. We don't have the means to help. Animal services won't show up for 3 hours. Can someone please help? She doesn't seem to be bleeding but she's definitely been thrown around.

Update: Animal Control showed up and the cat ran from them so they decided it was fine. I'm not sure where exactly it is now but it's somewhere in the park.

Anywhere high up that I can oversee the downtown lights and people?

Whenever I’m in a mood, I like driving around at night to look at the lights and the people milling around downtown. I like the ‘outside, looking in’ feeling, but gas is too expensive to be driving mindlessly lol.

Also, I’d love if it was free/very cheap! I’d do parking garages or the Tower if they didn’t cost money. I also have to take safety into consideration whenever I park far from my destination at night.

Total side question, but is it weird to go to the airport and sit inside just to watch people coming and going? I’m 17f and I love the wistful energy I get from so many people living life, but I also don’t want to get in trouble.
