Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request This baby wants to be in a home. Please help us fund his release so he can continue recovering from surgery comfortably 🙏

We previously posted here asking for help getting Jeremy his much-needed amputation after his left leg was severely injured and was only hanging by the skin. Thanks to everyone who donated, we were able to raise enough for him to be admitted and get through his surgery.

Today, the vet told us that Jeremy is ready to be released and continue recovering at home, but unfortunately, our funds aren’t quite ready to cover his outstanding balance.

The hospital has sent us an updated billing statement, and his bill has now reached $270 (invoice attached in the comments). We’re hoping to bring him home tomorrow, but we really need your help to make that happen. The longer he stays, the more his bill unfortunately grows.

Please help us get Jeremy home. 🙏

To donate:
📩 Donate via PayPal
📩 Donate via Debit or Credit

Thank you so much to everyone who has helped Jeremy get this far. We’ll continue posting updates on his recovery.

Donations Needed You Guys Have Done Something Incredible... Let's Finish This!

WE'RE ONLY $55 AWAY!

I honestly can't believe how close we are!

When we started this fundraiser, our goal was to raise $450 in donations to help feed and care for the nearly 200 cats depending on us.

Thanks to this incredible community, we reached a point where I felt confident enough to INCREASE our goal instead of simply calling it a success and moving on.

And now?

WE'RE JUST $55 AWAY FROM RAISING A TOTAL OF $1,100!

That's $1,100 toward desperately needed food and litter, and a little more breathing room for the people working tirelessly to care for these cats.

And YOU made that happen.

I know I've said thank you a hundred times already, but I genuinely don't think I could ever say it enough.

With my mandatory 68–72 hour workweeks, I haven't been able to give this fundraiser nearly the attention I would have liked. But every time I've had a chance to check in, I've been reminded just how amazing this community really is.

You've taken something that started as a simple request for help and turned it into something incredible.

And the best part? Every single dollar is going toward helping cats who have already been through more than they ever deserved.

Now we just need one final push!

$55. That's it.

Whether it's a small donation, a share, or simply helping keep this post visible, every little bit helps us get across that finish line.

And once we do, we can start looking ahead to our next big goal: getting a dedicated vehicle for rescue transportation!

Because apparently, after helping thousands of cats, we've learned that personal vehicles and unneutered tomcats aren't exactly a match made in heaven. I'm pretty sure that smell has its own ZIP code by now.

Seriously, though...

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for believing in what we're doing. And thank you for reminding us that even when rescue gets overwhelming, we're never truly doing it alone.

Let's finish this together!

As always the donation links will be in the comments. ❤️

Animal Services | San Bernardino, CA
SBCAS link

San Bernardino City Animal Shelter is a high kill high volume operation. It is located in the largest county in the US. SBC is located in Southern California where the overpopulation crisis is raging. During kitten season new babies are turned in daily, sometimes 30 or more a day! People just don’t s/n in SBC! So we must keep up with the demand. Many cats brought in are sick injured confiscated or abandoned as well. The shelter does not offer much more than basic treatment for sick/injured cats either so they must exit quickly by rescue or they are listed for euthanasia with a fast deadline depending on the ability to care for them. We do have amazing volunteers though that give us first hand information updates photos videos and almost instant feedback. Please help us by pledging and donating when we post and rescue. Thank you.
Also we always need transport to get cats to rescues. So if you can help by setting aside a small amount to our transport fund this is appreciated. It doesn’t go to the rescue it gets them TO the rescue. We absolutely need this part too.

Amazon Wish List I’m scared we won’t be able to keep everyone fed. Please help—50+ cats depend on us. 🐾

Im posting my Amazon and Walmart wishlists for the third time because we go through so much food every single day. We desperately need dry cat food, and continued help with wet food, too. Some items have already been purchased, and oh my gosh, I am so grateful. We received a lot of much-needed wet food and some dry food. Every donation matters, but with this many hungry mouths, the need doesn’t stop.
We feed over 50 cats every day in our colonies, plus strays outside apartments and other places, and we help people struggling to feed their own cats. Between all of them, we go through about three bags of dry food and probably 60 cans of wet food a day. It takes so much just to keep everyone fed.
I’m at work on my overnight shift right now, and I just received a message from a woman who has been out of cat food for two days. She has her own cats and feeds strays outside her home. When I get off work today, I’ll be taking her a couple of bags. These messages come two or three times every week. It breaks my heart knowing how many people and animals need help.
This Wednesday, I’m taking 10 cats to be spayed and neutered. At $25 each, that’s $250, plus gas for a drive that is two hours each way. I cover this out of my own pocket and with the donations people send. On October 23, I’m traveling from Somerset, Kentucky, to Bowling Green with six more cats for TNR and to help owners who cannot afford to have their cats fixed. We’re trying so hard to prevent more kittens from being born into this struggle while keeping the cats already here fed.
I need to be honest: I am overwhelmed, and sometimes I get so scared that I think about stopping. Then I think about the cats waiting at their feeding stations and the people reaching out because they have nowhere else to turn. I don’t know who would feed them if we stopped.
There is very little help available to us locally. We haven’t been able to get the food or stray-cat assistance we need through the humane society or animal control. The local rescuer we know is already at capacity, caring for animals in her own home. She’s overwhelmed, too. We are fighting every day to keep these animals from going hungry.
I also recently had to say goodbye to Princess, a sweet kitty I had been caring for. She was terribly sick, with painful abscesses and suspected kidney failure. Helping her pass peacefully absolutely broke my heart. These cats become so much more than cats we feed. We love them, and every loss hurts.
If you can, please purchase a bag of dry cat food from either wishlist. Wet food is also always needed and appreciated. Amazon deliveries have been taking about a week, but I am thankful for help from either Amazon or Walmart. You do not have to purchase a lot—one bag, one case, anything helps us keep feeding them.
I’m also including my Facebook link because I want you to see that everything I’m telling you is 100% true. I post our rescues, the cats we feed, our spay and neuter trips, and the work we do. It’s all there on my Facebook for you to look through, so you can see exactly what your kindness is helping us do.
Thank you to everyone who has already donated, shared, or supported us. Please help us keep food in their bowls. I cannot keep up with this need alone. ❤️🐾

Going to keep it short, any FOOD items would be of HUGE help, please and thank you for all you do for Floofaloofkind ♡♡♡ And thank you for caring about us TNRing colonies, all floofers deserve love, safety, a safe space, and yumyums♡  You have helped so many colonies, so many cats who now have homes, those who were able to make sure they had money so their cats they took in are fixed because of food donations.

FOOD DONATIONS = MONEY USED FOR FIXING COLONY CATS AND CATS TAKEN IN, and for VET APPTS. A lot of times it isn't they can't care for the cats, it is that the added extra expense is hard, so we will make sure to help. We would rather cats are safe, fixed, and have a home. Donating food and other items from my list means you know it all goes to the floofaloofs ♡♡♡

I am working on winterizing the yard and making sure their sanctuary is secure, warm, safe, comfy womfy, and that they don't have to worry about food.  I have seen the way people treat skunks and other wildlife, and I will NOT let anyone harm any floofaloof on my watch.

♡We will always do it for the floofaloofs♡

Amazon Wish List New rescues - in need of kitten food and litter! (Southern Mississippi)

Thumbnail

Our last rescues (minus one with ongoing worm issues) went on transport this past Saturday! Yesterday we drove 4 hours total and picked up these two and next week we will pick up another 5-week old litter from under the same house. 🫠

Little wormy butt can’t go on transport for at least a week until his issues clear up, so we will have at least 7 rescue kittens at the house. I would be so thankful for any wet kitten food or litter from the Amazon list.

Also… most all of my rescues are already committed to transport + a rescue in Vermont, but if you are local, and the kitten is available, he/she will be adopted out through Pretty Pittie Committee in Hattiesburg, MS. Thank you as always to this amazing group who has helped me save over 20+ kittens!!

Please boost for the babies!

Supplies Donation Request Three rescue cats, two of them bonded. All need continual care. Two nights into the new place. Still asking for donations, supplies, and support. (Eugene, Oregon)

Thumbnail

The move happened Saturday. We are here.

Two bedrooms on five wooded acres outside Eugene. Boots has the second bedroom to herself, which was the whole reason this particular place mattered. Sable and Cosimo have the rest.

How they are doing, honestly: adjusting. Two nights in is early. There has been a lot of cautious perimeter-checking, some hiding, and the general suspicion cats reserve for a world that rearranged itself without consulting them. That is normal and expected. Cats orient by scent and territory.

Boots is the one I am watching most. She spent years outside, then months in one room recovering from having nineteen teeth removed, and now a new room in a new building. She is eating, which matters more than anything else. I am working on making her space feel like hers rather than like somewhere she was put: her own bedding, her window, the cat tree someone anonymously sent us months ago, which made the trip and is already in use.

Sable and Cosimo have each other, which is doing most of the work for them.

Where things stand financially

Saturday is paid. That happened because of this community and because one person gave $1,900 last week. We are at $4,157 of $10,000.

What is still ahead:

November 1: $1,590 rent

November 15: $795, second half of the deposit

December 1: $1,590 rent

January 15: $400 pet deposit

Plus the setup costs of moving out of a shared household into an empty apartment. Almost nothing came with me. Furniture, kitchen basics, separate litter and feeding stations in two rooms so Boots keeps her own space. That is the part I am working through this week.

On the income side: I have interviews and follow-ups actively in motion, including a remote community role I have already interviewed for and am waiting to hear back on. Nothing signed yet. I am chasing several things at once rather than waiting on any one of them, and I will say so here the moment something lands.

Venmo: https://www.venmo.com/u/Jehoseph

PayPal: https://paypal.me/TheDivines

If you have given already, a share is worth more than another donation. Twenty two people got us here. Your networks are people I cannot reach. Send it to one person who likes cats.

And if you are local to Eugene with furniture you are storing and no longer want, I would be grateful. A bed especially, for the second bedroom where Boots spends her time. A table, chairs, a dresser. If it has been sitting in a garage waiting for a purpose, this is one. Message me and I will arrange pickup.

For anyone new. Boots is 10, found starving outside in our neighborhood in late June at 6.7 pounds, crying out and backing away from her own food because eating hurt that badly. Nineteen teeth extracted on July 21. Her surgeon said it was likely the worst oral pain a cat can experience and her tissue was too damaged to hold sutures. That surgery was about $3,450 and this subreddit helped pay for it. She is 8.26 pounds now, her bloodwork is normal, and she eats dry food again.

Sable is our young tortoiseshell, an emergency foster from May after being abandoned. Cosimo is a four month old kitten, neuter scheduled for November. Those two are bonded and will not be separated.

Her complete veterinary file from Echo Hollow Vet Hospital and Urgent Care in Eugene is available to anyone who asks. I completed full moderator verification here in July.

Thank you. Three months ago one of these cats could not eat. On Saturday she rode to a house in the woods.

POSITIVE THOUGHTS NEEDED🙏🏻🐾 I rescued this kitty today in DR

I rescued this cat today. She’s super thin and even had ticks which I find unusual as I rescue cats periodically and is uncommon, that makes me think she hasn't been grooming herself. I gave her some food and she ate a little bit and I added a bit of vitamins. This is all I can do right now because I don’t have credit at the vet but I didn’t wanted to abandon her on the streets, she was cold when I picked her up, mind you we live in a tropical country and temperatures are usually high. I hope she feels better tomorrow. She doesn’t have a name yet.

UPDATE: I called her Maya

COMMUNITY APPRECIATION 💞 From I-540 traffic to a forever home: Willow’s rescue

Post image

Willow was about 4 weeks old when Deputy Devin Richardson spotted her running on I-540. He wasn’t sure he had missed her, pulled over and ran back.

I spoke with Richardson and traced what happened to her afterward through the Wake County Animal Center and SPCA Wake.

I reported this story for The News & Observer after seeing the SPCA/Wake Sheriff post.

Donations Needed 🚨Rescued Baby Kitten🚨50+ Community Cats Depend On Me😓Please Help If You Can🙏

I rescued this tiny kitten who was found all alone in the middle of the street. I took him in, and now I’m doing everything I can to help him get better and receive the care he needs.

Taking care of a kitten this small is a huge responsibility. It takes time, commitment, constant attention, and potentially many sleepless nights. He may need round-the-clock care, and helping him get healthy will take patience, dedication, and love.

I already care for more than 50 community cats, providing daily food and fresh water and helping them through TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). I also rescue cats who are sick, injured, abandoned, or have nowhere else to go. I handle all this work on my own, and I know caring for this little boy will be another big responsibility. It won’t be easy, but I’m willing to do everything I can to help him. He was found all alone, and he deserves a chance at life. ❤️

I’m Sam, the solo rescuer behind Luna & Nala Rescue Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Every day, I dedicate my time to rescuing cats and caring for the community cats who depend on me. Between daily feeding, TNVR, veterinary bills, food, and caring for cats in need, the expenses and responsibilities never stop. I do everything I can, but I can’t do it all alone.

🙏 Please consider donating to Luna & Nala Rescue Inc. to help with this little kitten’s care and allow me to continue rescuing cats and providing food, veterinary care, and TNVR services for the 50+ community cats who depend on me every day.

I will provide updates on this little baby. 🥹❤️🙏

Advice Needed Kitten on peachtree

Thumbnail
0 Upvotes

In Atlanta, Georgia on peachtree street next to Sugar factory, I saw a person that appeared to be homeless and or on drugs he was wiping the butt of the kitten, and there was some blood on the tissue he almost let it run into the street, but I saved it. I was not able to take it home and a security officer was talking to the guy but petting the cat and I don’t think he was aware of the danger that came with us for the kitten. He said he found it on the side of the road in Florida and drove it here. I’m just concerned it appeared to be 4 to 6 weeks old.
