Advice Needed Reactive aussie with baby on the way.

Hi everyone! I recently found out I am pregnant with our first, and have been having pretty severe stress about my reactive Aussie around our child. She is 5 years old, great with people she knows, pretty bad with everyone else. She is very reactive to people entering our home, as well as other dogs while on walks. We have started training with a local trainer, but I feel like I haven’t seen any progress. I feel a bit hopeless and frustrated that this is something I am so stressed about while pregnant.

Any advice on getting her ready for the upcoming change? We have a nephew and she has done okay around him, but I am still incredibly nervous.

Could you share a bit more about the training? How long have you been working with the trainer? What sorts of things are you working on with them?

We’ve done a few sessions, over the past few months. They brought a martingale collar that we have been using, but she just seems to ignore it TBH. We have mostly been trying to work on threshold control (not letting her freak out when people come in the floor and stopping her jumping on people). She does good when people are sitting, and will let them pet and approach her, but if they are up and moving around she freaks out. She knows all her basic commands, but is so stubborn and will just ignore us if she doesn’t want to do something or gets triggered.
