STAY CLEAN 2026 YEAR-LONG CHALLENGE! This thread updated daily - Check in here!
Daily news: This is Monday, October 12, and today is day 285 of the year-long Stay Clean 2026 challenge. Keep fighting the good fight!
If you think you should still be on this list but aren't, you probably got removed for not checking in at least once per month. However, if you let me know you're still with it I'll re-add you.
Guidelines:
- At the end of this post is a list of people who have signed up for the challenge, and who are still in the running. That means that they have not needed to reset because of a relapse or slip.
- Please check in with the group in the comments as often as you want! Feel free to share thoughts, feelings, experiences, progress, wisdom, encouragement and whatever else!
- IMPORTANT: if you relapse, please post a comment to that effect here and I will remove your name from the list. We will not judge you or shame you, we have all been there.
- Participants are required to check in once per month. If you have a "~" after your name, you have yet to check in during October. If it is still there at the end of October 30, you will be removed from the list, in order to keep the numbers as realistic as possible.
- We will not be accepting any new participants, but even if you're not on the list, please feel free to check in in the update threads anyway! And be sure to join us for the Stay Clean monthly thread!
Good luck!
There are currently 20 out of 640 original participants. That's 3%. These 20 participants represent 5700 pornfree days in 2026! That's more than 15 years.
Here is the list of participants still with the challenge:

Going for the update of the week. A bit was overtaken by work plus well a new event kicked off an anxiety issue so expect that thing along with body issues resolves well with fortune. Definitely health and work as a sector remains priority.
Apart from that the week was pretty much the same with focus on routines.
I do need the +ve vibes especially for work and health; something I would be immensely grateful for.
Nevertheless I'll go back to my bit hope all is well there

Another month begins, which means another check-in is in order! I am doing really nicely lately. Went through a tough period in my life and stared into the abyss once or twice, but in the end, I stayed with my emotions. Now I'm feeling better and once again see that tough times need to be here, so good times can come as well. Good luck everyone!

Going to restart today. Had 32 days then fell back into it a couple weeks ago.
Not going to wallow in the failure. Can’t stay sober, so going to at least fully focus on this addiction. Never want to watch again but going to shoot for a goal of 60 days. Never done that before in my life since I was 14.

Stiil going, thank God. When under stress I can still get the urge to relapse but have been able to let it pass, thankfully.

Second half of September check-in. Going strong, but sometimes with trouble. I generally choose things that challenge me and help me to grow so I tend to have urges to watch porn here and there as a way to escape my demons. But I don't and grow a lot!

You can check in here anytime, but it’s too late to join the year-long challenge. There’s a monthly challenge each month too.

September check in. Tough days lately. Had to deal with a personal loss, difficulties in career growth and other issues that cost a lot of energy. I don't give up, I don't watch porn, but sometimes it hurts a lot. Sometimes we need to hurt in order to feel better later. Good luck to everyone!

Heyho, checking in for the start of September. I'm happily home again from the hospital, still feeling wonky from concussion. More difficult to stay pornfree, as I'm bored out of my mind. Then again, I'm allowing myself to be bored, which helps tremendously. Have a nice month guys and gals.

Feels like cheating to even participate when you're zoinked on estrogen.
But, here.

I've been very ill, been in the hospital. Difficult to not spiral and go back to old addictions. Yet... one day at a time. Free from porn and I want to stay that way. Real contact with my girlfriend, family and friends is worth so much more.

Another month nearly over, still porn free. It's a tough ride, but I manage. The more I dare in my life, the less I realise I need porn. But the more I dare, the more I also have to struggle not to watch porn. I think it's more or less of a cycle of self-overcoming and working on oneself, but it really is worth it.

Checking in, still porn-free. Life is tough once again. I am a very ambitious person who likes to explore and try different things out, pushing the boundaries of my comfort zone. I really appreciate this characteristic of mine, and I feel like I fully embody the philosophy of working hard to climb up the ladder in life. But with getting out of my comfort zone come unpleasant emotions, and with unpleasant emotions come the urge to feel better (or not feel the said emotions). Since that's exactly what I used porn for for a long time, it comes creeping back from time to time. I am very proud of what I do and how I get better in my life without relapsing. Good luck to everyone!

Day 9 checking in. Jesus Christ the amount and intensity of relapse dreams are driving me nuts. Never gotten this far btw
Also I’ve been finding my gf especially beautiful. Like I was never not attracted to her but right now I feel like I’m staring at Venus when we’re on a date

End of the month update.
I just returned from one of the most amazing vacations in my recent memory into the daily grind and it spiked my urges a lot. Spending time with my family with fewer responsibilities made me once again realize how important the balance in life is. Now it is time to start working hard again, away from my closest ones, and even though I feel ready I also feel stressed and sad.
So what's the choice here?
I can either go back to family, comfort and zero responsibility; all of which would lose much of their value when unlimited; or go back to reality, work hard, and make the next vacation as lovely as this one.
And I know what I'll be choosing!
