I’m trying to expand my music tastes and give genres I normally don’t listen to a try. I absolutely fell in love with Kacey this year and I’m SO glad she seems like a cool person because one of my hesitancies about country has been the shift from ‘fuck cops / the law’ vibes to ‘americuh’ over the past twenty odd years.

I’m not a country fan as a whole, but I do have a “Woke Country/Folksy/Americana” playlist that has her on it. I suggest also checking out Tyler Childers (“Nose to the Grindstone,” “In Your Love” with the beautifully done video that made me bawl, for two options).
