He loves humans but doesn’t like dogs. My trainer suggested I socialize him and take him to daycare.
About 3 hours in she texted me. She also told me his behavior was concerning for 9m. Should I take him back? I want him to be better around other dogs 😩

So we found out some bad news today: our good girl has an aggressive, invasive facial tumor. She had been real lethargic for weeks before and not eating well. We went through lots of vet visits and work up and finally took her in to the emergency vet yesterday bc she wouldn’t eat anything. We were hoping it was just MMM or TN, but the preliminary read is very bad. It’s invading her skull base. They may offer palliative radiation, but may not either. I don’t think we will have much longer with her.
I’m in shock. We thought it could be cancer, but really hoped for something treatable. My heart is also shattered into a million pieces. I didn’t think we’d have to say goodbye to her so soon.
She’s been such an amazing dog. I hope we can make her final days as pleasant as possible. Idk how her little adopted brother will adjust either. Sigh. My heart hurts so much

Hope not too late…
This is Star. We are fostering her from ACCT philly.
Star is a 4.yo retired mama. 50 pounds, brindle. Up to date in all vaccines, spayed. She was surrendered after having puppies, but was spayed! Star seemed to come from a house that was a bit mean to her, so she is a very timid baby. She is the biggest cuddle bug. I mean she will not let you be alone. She’s gonna sit on you and crawl into your skin. She is a big baby. She loves all food. Her favorite toy is a lamb chop. Star likes to sing with the police sirens. Star is labeled as no kids since she was very fearful. However, we are working with face touching so she is not as fearful. (No bite history, just gets uncomfy) Recommended for older kids who know how to read a dogs body language. She would be an amazing companion for someone who needs a friend to be around 24:7.
Star is potty trained and will also go on puppy pads if needed. Star knows sit, learning to lay. No issues with ear cleaning and nail trims, but a bit fearful of the nail grinder. Does okay with baths but would prefer not to have baths and be stinky… I wipe her paws after every walk and she’s totally okay. She loves to be the big spoon. Star doesn’t pull on the leash. She is good with other dogs but needs a slow introduction. Star has recently become friends with a Shitzu at our local park, named Buddy. Very tiny dog but Star loves to run with him. She has met 2 stray cats we trapped and kept in our closet. Very excited but did not growl or bark.
Please reach out if you would be interested in getting to know more about Star.

Our boy Fritz loves his friends at daycare and the team at daycare captured some amazing action shots of him and some of his friends. Fritz is the brown and white guy showing off his moves.

Finally introducing ourselves here! DNA results at the end, but she is 29.3% APBT with her top breed being 42.1% Mountain Cur. She was a stray in southern US, so I figured some APBT would be in her DNA. I was shocked that it was second! I thought she’d for sure have some Jack Russel Terrier as a top breed. Mountain Cur was a new one for me.
Miley is my second dog, and the smartest one I’ve ever met. Most commands take us 1 session to learn, and she LOVES nosework.
She only sleeps in her crate. She has major FOMO and won’t get good sleep elsewhere. She is a happy gal who loves everyone (proud to say we’ve worked through her excitement reactivity that she had when I adopted her)! As an easily overaroused gal, we take plenty of classes to work on navigating big feelings in real situations.
Unfortunately she hasn’t been herself lately. We’re on strict rest for now due to medical reasons. She misses running around and going to classes, as do I.
2027 will be filled with hikes and fun for us once we have the all clear, hopefully in January!

At exactly 9pm, Frank puts a sheet over his giant block head, and we are forced to pretend we can't see him. If we ignore him, he becomes agitated. So we pretend we can't see him. Two years we have been going through this ritual! It's now our favorite part of going to bed.

Aruni has this thing where she will go to great lengths to wrap her chew up in a blanket before chewing. Does anyone else's do this? Tax of the weirdo obviously now dissatisfied by her unwrapped nylabone.

Well everyone his name is officially Jack. I had a lot of you guys suggest it because of his brindle coloring, like Jack and Coke my boyfriend and I loved it so his name is going to be Jack. This is his third day being in a house and he has decided that bones are a very good thing and sisters are slightly annoying. So glad I rescued this pup! And once again anybody out there who has a German shepherd pitbull mix I would appreciate any advice you could provide. I've had quite a few different types of pit mixes but never one with a Shepherd before, I do anticipate a lot of energy.
