Isn’t it obvious how you insert the door handle?

When I start making mistakes like this, I start cleaning up. I’m done for the day.
I interned at UPS in undergrad and their safety training was stellar. How people ignore these warning signs of installing something backward and then misstepping off a ladder/fall off a roof at dusk.
I actually get a dopamine boost when I have the foresight to stop the task for the day.

I too get a dopamine boost when I get to leave work early. In fact, I feel a mistake coming on right now. /s

reminds me of the reels people make about stupid results during home inspection, especially about electrical connections, asking the grandma when her sons house burned down, she answers then wonders 'how did you know about that'

This is the new Stanley security latch. It prevents the door being opened quickly in an emergency. Insurance companies have been offering a discount when they get used as it saves millions a year in payouts because no one can get out to file a claim. /s

It looks like there isn’t a handle attached to the latch bolt. The handle could be installed like that to keep people from locking themselves in by shutting the door completely, only to find out there is no way to disengage the latch.

Just the other day I watched a fascinating video on how housing prices are higher in the UK vs. US because builders in the UK have much higher standards for employment than the US.
Maybe if I get rich enough to build a house, I'll save a bit extra to bring in UK artisans.

You flip the door upside down
