Elder scrolls x Civ when?

I have not played it in a while, but take a look at Unciv - it has a lot of mods, and may have a Tamriel map for it too. It may also be the best way to make a TES x Civ mod.

Is there a higher resolution version of this? The map markers aren't legible but the map itself looks fantastic! Excellent work and attention to detail!

I could host it somewhere else, but I'm not having any trouble seeing the full res on reddit. Does this link work better for you? https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fjbhaqsxl4avh1.png

Neat.
I don't know the names of any of these because I've only played Oblivion and Skyrim. But neat!

Why is balmora in ruins?

u/Icy-Cartographer4179 15h ago
https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Balmora there's conflicting info on whether it's an active settlement by 4e201, I decided to make it ruins

Seems like the contradicting info is Erikurs dialogue inferring Balmora is no longer standing, vs an exerpt from lorebook, where the author interviewed a dunmer, who was sent to rebuild it shortly after the eruption.
From the Red Year Vol II -
"I spent maybe two months there, helping to rebuild the town and getting my fellow Dunmer back on their feet. It started out as a burden, but it ended up being the most rewarding thing I'd ever done in my life. I started some friendships there that still last to this day, including my beloved wife."

Whats the distance between hexes?

u/Icy-Cartographer4179 15h ago
elder scrolls lore is vague and conflicting on distances, but in past times I've posted this, some helpful commenters have worked out via some rules of thumb for population densities of skyrim compared to medieval era european countries of similar climate and arrived at ~20 miles/32 km between hexes for something authentic to the real world

this is really cool!
How long ago did you make it? A current 2026 version with some of the newer zones from ESO would be cool if you still have the resources to edit.
Off the top of my head I think just Solstice and the Systres Islands are missing. Not huge changes but would be a nice update if its possible.
