Deloitte has new contracts with HMRC.
This gives them DEEP access to the tax systems and needs to be immediately suspended.
They could start deleting or editing figures and evidence.

Remember when the media pounded in benefits fraud seemingly every day, then a journalist published documents that showed tax fraud by the rich dwarfed those losses then said journalist died in a most obvious assassination?

Daphne Anne Caruana Galizia was who I was thinking of. A car bomb was so obvious it had to be a warning

Wasn't the millionaire (billionaire with his secret assets) who ordered the hit recently acquitted? Yorgen Fenech is his name.

I'm not surprised at all. How the hell do billionaires just get richer - by cheating the tax system using big accountancy firms like Deloitte to hide their wealth. It's been done like this since the Dead Sea was only feeling ill.

And having corrupt leaders like boris johnson, truss, sunak, starmer and burnham that take literal cash bribes to suppress investigations and the public just doesn't care.
Burnham for example has told HMRC NOT to investigate several billionaires. Direct instructions from HE WHO MUST BE OBEYED, and senior civil servants have been told if they go public with this, they will be "punished".

Interestingly -ovitch / -ovich is a common surname ending that means "son of" like -son / -sson, bin, Mac- etc.

I am incredulous that an organisation as large as Deloitte would do something so ridiculous. Their partners in the UK are typically on £1m+ a year, senior partners and leadership on more. I guess it shows that when you are a billionaire, anyone and anything can be bought if the price is right. I would love for the FRC to do something serious about this - but they won't.
