Project Pictures Commuter Bag

This might be my favorite pattern that I've come up with. It comes together relatively easily and the pack is a really nice functional size.

Once I get my new shop up and running, this is going to be the pack that I am going to have students make in the shop for their first project.

What's the shock cord going through... is it 1/2" poly webbing?

Yes, it's just 1/2" webbing

Looks great. Love the color combos. I always prefer a roll top especially for smaller bags like this.

Whoa! That’s one effin beautiful pack!
I’m not the biggest fan of those x-pac fabrics with a ripstop as the outer fabric, but it really looks cool in this one.

I’m currently thinking about a backpack for commuting/edc, and something like your design might be something to consider.

Also: are these the straight straps from your strap pattern set?

Thanks! The uvx40 is one of the coolest looking fabrics I think.

These straps are the narrower j straps from the most recent pattern file I made available on my site. They have a fairly gentle curve to the outside of the pack.

Looks really good! I like the curvature to the front.

I really like the slim profile, and your color choices are perfection.

Where did you get the "Goss" tags made?

I bought some printed fabric from ripstopbythroll with a repeating grid of the logo. I cut out the logo, heat seal the edges and sew it on.

That is so smart! What kind of fabric is it?
