Repair / Modification Asking for advice

Hi everyone

Just wondering if anyone has any advice or experience with repairing this stitching problem.

The is the Velcro part of the sleeve.
The stitching is still intact just a bit loose on the end. In theory it won’t affect the function that much but I just wanna make it smooth.

I was thinking, stitching myself, but since this is a waterproof shell I’m afraid the water might sneak through the stitching into the inner layer.

Or any super strong fabric tape would work?

Thank you for the advises in advance!

I mean there is a 4” hole at the end of the sleeve so I wouldn’t worry too much about the stitching.

Sorry if this is a silly question. What do you mean by 4” hole?

Where your hand goes through

I think they’re saying it’s so close to the end of the sleeve waterproofness isn’t a big worry? I’d probably just put some adhesive in there and clamp it down while it sets.

As others have said I was making a bit of a joke about it being near the hole your hand goes through.

You could seam seal the inside after stitching to re-waterproof it. I prefer Ultra TNT tape depending on the material, but aquaseal is an option too.
