Former brewers ace is a weird way of saying (current) Rays pitcher….

What did the Mets do to this man to make him so ass while he was there?

We had four starting pitchers that pitched great this year. Not sure why Peralta couldn't pitch well.

Four? Definitely McLean. Who are the others?

Imo Scott, Thornton, and Holmes

Scott was OK. Thornton pitched 84 innings, Holmes 52 (for the Mets).
They have one solid pitcher in McLean and even he can still be considered an unknown quantity at this point.

Happy for him. Clearly our organization did something to fuck him up. Or he couldn't handle NYC, but he's handling postseason pressure just fine, so I think we just fucked him up. Glad he's doing better now.

When in doubt, yeah the Mets fucked it up.

If they could do it to Scherzer and Verlander, they could do it to anyone

I'm a Tigers guy, but I collect Peralta autos and jerseys.
Love me some Fastball Freddy.

Damn, the Mets pitching development must be horrible. He looks completely normal on the Ray's

My favorite gag as a Rays fan is seeing former (team) next to a huge chunk of our lineup, including former (Ray) on opposing teams. Its almost like they don't care to acknowledge the players we farmed haha

I am happy Peralta is shining again. Whatever it was, be it the mets, time or space, he is now performing like a champ in a big moment.

If they eliminate the Dodgers, the road is left for a new and great champion. Milwaukee and Tampa deserve it.

It’s sad seeing Tampa ALCS only selling 31,000 on a 42,000 stadium.
Meanwhile Milwaukee sell over a thousand “standing room only” tickets.

Getting away from that Mets shitshow was the best thing that coulda happen to him.
