Not to be one of those people- if the freckles in the eye are new in any way, they can (are not always!!!) be a sign of optical cancer in cats, especially light eyed/white fur cats. Have you mentioned it to your vet at all? It's usually asymptomatic asides from the freckles.

Ps. She's gorgeous!!!!

I have had her for two years and she had those spots when i got her. Unfortunately she is from a rescue, so i don't have any photos from when she was a kitten to confirm if they have always been there. She has been to the vet three times now and they didn't seem to be concerned about it despite doing a routine check on her.

They seem to have slightly changed in shape over the two years according to photos, so i will take her to the vet soon to have it checked out. The vet should be able to determine if it is cancer or regular freckles.

I am not rushing to the vet immediately though, i don't think this is that much of an emergency? I will take her in the following few weeks.

Thanks for your concern, i might give an update after i find out, if i remember to do it.

Nah, not an emergency. Just definitely follow up with your vet, would probably help if you can bring the photos showing the change in the freckle :)

best of luck!
