Should be illegal to pull in backwards with a trailer hitch. It causes a walking hazard on the footpath.

Even without the hitch, the white truck is taking up just under half the sidewalk.

Agree it’s an asshole move. Sad part is they don’t even understand that it’s an asshole move. That being said in a poorly lit night I’ll see the tailgate of the white truck and I’m not going to walk into it. The trailer hitches on the other side aren’t clear.
