A real answer that's not just making fun of truck owners is tow hitches can get stuck really easily from rust.

pickup trucks replacing cars as the main passenger vehicle has lead to thousands more unneccesary deaths(impacting especially young children) and that's before you consider the impact of greater pollution.

Trucks are a tool, a vehicle to move stuff. If you don’t often use it to move stuff, you just have a tool that is inconvenient to everyone else around you.
