The more space you provide, the more items she's going to get to cover that space. As a woman, I know this.

Not really a woman vs man issue. My husband is extremely guilty of this. If the space is free, he will fill it. I’ve done my part and have reduced the amount of “drop spaces” we have in our house. It helped, but he still manages lol

I have this issue too. I've tried to buy drawers and storage boxes and label them so that there is no guessing where things should go, and they still get put out on top of surfaces. I've been dealing with it now for over 10 years. I'm genuinely reading this thread for advice and perspective. It seems not everyone likes a clean looking surface!

Now I must be weird, I like things looking neat and organized I hate when products are just out everywhere. I like all of my products put away in their proper place. 😬

She's just teaching OP about the concept of induced demand.

So touching

Yes, in man terms, it's like buying a home with a three car garage and being irritated when a "project car" inevitably turns up inside it.

(j/k, kind of)
