I am struggling to replicate this issue but I wish I were able to clip it.

In outlook desktop (for windows 11) I utilized the built in tool to report an email as phishing (it was a false trust wallet email) and upon clicking “report phishing” I was automatically redirected to the unsubscribe page from the email in my browser.

This level of security incompetence is unfathomable, and if this is intended behavior, rather than a strange error I am shocked.

There is nothing special or safe about the unsubscribe links of emails. It is just a URL to a webpage. Having your email client automatically open a link on an email I AM TELLING YOU IS MALICIOUS is nuts.

M18, I'm active duty in the military, and rarely have time to play games, so I became quite disheartened last night when I checked my personal email and saw that someone had gotten into my account, and changed my passkey, passwords, and my primary email to their own.

They also created their own authentication code using a app on their phone, and it's near to impossible for me to even try and get back in. That account I have had for around 11 years, connected to my xbox account i've spent thousands on, and my minecraft account i've had for literally forever. I'm completely heartbroken and microsoft can't even give me a real person to talk to, I have to go in circles with chatbots to even attempt to, and even then, it say's my microsoft account doesn't exist connected to my email because the hacker changed it.

I honestly don't know what I can even do anymore, and i'm to busy with the military to spend all my time trying to get microsoft to get me my account back, i've already sent account recovery requests and nothing has happened. i'm pissed.

ok so the first time, i lost my microsoft account to hackers & my minecraft account & who could've guessed? they didn't do shit. so i gave up & got a new minecraft account, but here's the thing: the new email used for the account was considered a child account with all restrictions enabled, and can you guess what email is the only one usable to change the restrictions? the hacked one, now i'm down 60 bucks fuck microsoft support
