Hola a todos! Desde hace algún tiempo Marimo se presenta como una alternativa a Jupyter. Es un cuaderno de código abierto en python con el formato .py.

Algunos de sus beneficios:

- El dataframe tiene una UI con opciones de filtrado.

- Puedes ejecutar consultas SQL en motor DuckDB.

- Ejecución de gráficos interactivos como Plotly.

- Interactividad en tiempo real, por ejemplo: Si declaras una variable y otra depende de esta, cuando decidas cambiar el valor de la variable, todo se cambia, no necesitas ejecutar todo el cuaderno

- Publicar tus cuadernos como app web.

Until today I've been able to log into Molab fine. Now when I try to log in it says "Add authentication application", and then gives a QR code. I tried getting around it because I don't need extra security here -- I'm not doing anything with Molab where it'd upset me if I got hacked. But seems like there's no way around it.

But there's also no instructions on how to set up an authenticator app, which one I have to use, or anything. There's a QR to scan but when I scan it, it just puts a URL in my phone's text editor, so I have no idea what I'm supposed to do here.

Hey guys, this may not be the typical post, but I have recently started exploring Python Jupyter notebooks and stumbled across Marimo.

I have been using spreadsheets a lot in my career over the past 10 years as a structural engineer and really want to push the envelope and break into coding notebooks, but I keep on feeling like I am way out of my depth.

Is Marimo an advanced feature that I need to come back to after learning more coding basics? Or are there a few simple things I’m missing that seem to clear everything up?

Side note: I’m torn between using Marimo in VScode vs the browser (locally hosted). My goal would be template calculations that are pulled and modified by the project.

Any help is appreciated.
