He 100% glances down and Jack didn't wrap the towel round his waist yet 🤣. The episode is S2 'The Whole Truth' and the timestamp is 09:57.

Seeing this as an adult at 33 instead at 11 is just incredible. The emotion displayed by Jack getting closure on the death of his father and their falling out through and unwitting 3rd party is one of the hardest hitting things I’ve ever seen in television. They were really on something before the writers strike I swear

Just finished my 5th or 6th watch and wondered who coined the term “flash sideways”. I’m good on understanding what the plot itself is portraying, but who said those words? Did that come from the showrunners or writers talking about it in the press? Was that a term coined by the audience in trying to make sense of those scenes? How/who/when did that term come about?

Tysm

I want one.

Does anyone know where I can find a better definition version of Desmond’s marina photograph? My partner and I have “family photos” of people from shows we love and would like to add these two to the collection. Does anyone have a retouched version of this photo? No AI please. Thank you!!

One of my favorite funny moments from lost. Sawyer never failed to make me laugh 😂😭

What are some of your favorite funny moments from lost?

I'm talking about their dialogue where Jack believes everything matters while Desmond through his special ability realizes that they all live in another life regardless so nothing else really matters.

I personally I think Jack is right but is there truth to what Desmond says? Because even if they die they'll be reborn in another world/life so nothing they exactly do matters because it's all already predetermined in a sense

Or are they both right? Anyway I just wanna hear your guys thoughts on this

I’m trying to keep the title vague but I’m sure 99% of you know that I’m referring to the popular “theory” that they were dead the whole time. I’ve noticed a lot of times new viewers ask about this and we are quick to correct that they were alive the whole time. Do you think this is a spoiler in itself? The show a few times hints that this might be the case with Anthony Cooper and Richard Alpert both believing the island to be Hell. If we keep correcting people who ask if they were dead the whole time, are we robbing new viewers of the opportunity to wonder what is going on?

I know Frank torres played him during the turbine scene, no one seems to know and I'm very curious

So a bit of a context: I was apprehensive when i started the show because i had heard the ending is bad, it doesn’t know what it is etc etc.

Imagine my surprise when a show actually gives its fans the ultimate closure by those final season flash sideways- where they all make up for their mistakes and flaws and loneliness- and all of them got to experience a positive purgatory at the end of which they meet before moving on- with my personal theory being the island making it possible for them- since it is a part of all of them- it was beautiful and made me feel as empty as only masterpieces have before. Haven’t felt that way after a show in a long time.

The ending is misunderstood. That’s my concrete opinion. Most mysteries were answered, maybe a bit too many- but thats fine. Yes some things were retconned, some threads lose, some plotlines dropped, it wasn’t perfect by any means, but my god the way it made me feel was unlike anything else. 2 days since i caught up and i couldn’t stop thinking about it. I feel it has a lot in common with well made shounen anime, the very best of them. Probably the only show out there that does that.

Incredible, unforgettable show.

First time in Hawaii and was keen to visit some Lost locations, including Penny and Desmond’s iconic photo together

Edit: we’re on our honeymoon together and flew from Sydney to LA before coming to Hawaii, that first flight had me concerned I’d be meeting up with Hurley!

I sat my roommate down and had her watch the pilot of Lost without telling her anything about the show and these were some of her predictions for the rest of the show in her words

Charlie is somehow part of the monster or part of the island somehow

Either Boone or Shannon will be the first ones to die bc they’re pretty much useless

If Kate didn’t kill someone I’m going to be very upset

Claire is going to have her baby and that’s going to have it’s own arc

They’re going to end up setting up their own civilization on the island and they’ll never get off

I think the marshal is going to live and then realize that Kate isn’t really that bad

Heres some commentary about the show that aren’t really predictions

There are too many characters

Sawyer is IKEA Chris Hemsworth

If the boy doesn’t get his dog back I’m going to riot

If the dog dies I’m going to riot

Hurley is my favorite character but he was designed to be like able

I watched the show years ago and it’s one of my favorite shows so I’m excited to see her continue to watch it

I was there 3000 years ago

My collectibles and fan made stuff ig, the water bottle is not accurate I couldn’t wait to fix the label and get a water bottle that is the correct shape but I’ll fix it soon. Doing John’s suicide note really pissed me off his handwriting is so hard to replicate

I just finished s3 of lost and i’m loving it. I truly believe it’ll have a spot in my top 5-10 tv shows oat but somebody spoiled the end for me and idek if its real or not. Something about they have been dead all along because they are in a church. And it completely ruined my mood. i know the ending of lost has gotten a lot of criticism but people have also stated that it was misunderstood. And i don’t mind it really, but i’m just having a hard time believing and if i should continue the show or not.

I first watched Lost in early top 2010s. It's easily one of my most favorite shows. I don't normally rewatch tv shows but I decided to rewatch Lost. Just finished the first season and here are my thoughts on the characters:

1- Jack is the GOAT. I remember back then, a lot of online forums used to call him annoying. I don't get it. He's such a selfless guy.
2- Kate's character seems out of place at times. Sometimes, it seems like she's from a soap opera.
3- A lot of characters were made needlessly annoying like Michael, Walt, Shannon, Jin, Claire, etc. It feels like outside of some main characters like Jack, Locke, Kate, Sayyid, etc, the rest of them have no depth and got different treatment.
4- Locke was very selfish. Amazing character though. He's the most interesting character.
5- Sayyid's character development was great in first season. I do know how it will get butchered by the end. Seems like they didn't make the best use of him.
6- When I watched first time, I didn't like Boone. But, now, I think that he was sincere and was trying to help since the beginning. Was sad to see him die.
7- I don't know how Sawyer escaped the wrath of others in the beginning. In reality, no one would have tolerated him stealing all the supplies or keeping silent during Shannon's asthma episode. Again, like Kate, I feel like this character was from some soap opera.
8- Hurley and Charlie are cool

Despite all that, the show's core plot is excellent so far. I just feel that certain characters could have been written better.

When I first watched the show from the beginning to end, I had a lot of questions. This time, I just searched them on Reddit and got the answers.
