Cold Open still not online?

In past weeks, they've been putting the Cold Open online pretty much as soon as the show ends, but this week's is still not out as far as I can see...

The only explanation I can think of is that Larry stumbled quite badly on the final line, so maybe they're going to clean that up (maybe using the dress performance)?

I hope they don't do that. Flubbed lines can be distracting but the whole thing about live performance is that things can and do go wrong sometimes. Outside of an extreme situation like (heaven forbid) somebody getting injured on camera, I wouldn't expect them to remove it from the YouTube clip.

I mostly just feel bad for poor Larry.

I felt for him too, it happens. I imagine he will have been going through some emotions after that. It was a key joke too.

That said, I got the joke and laughed so it wasn’t a disaster - but I know what that feels like when you’re performing and it’s not good. On the plus side, I feel that cast is really supportive of each other and that makes a difference.

Tbh I doubt most people remember it because the live from London came right after and then it’s the show, and the show was great

They did edit the Mario/Peach sketch for upload. The live version the ending awkwardly froze on George and Aimee, then had a delayed scream track before cutting to an exterior shot. In the uploaded version it perfectly cuts to the exterior and plays the scream on time

Couldn't they just use the dress rehearsal version? I assume they would record it.

Almost like the person with the socials password is off sick or something, this week has had barely any uploads since Sunday morning :(

It's always a crap shoot what gets uploaded from the previous episodes but you are right Cold Open is a weird one to not upload.

I hope they replace it for Larry's sake, making a mistake on a punchline on TV must feel awful

It was funny because Andrew doesn’t look or sound anything like that but none of that was relevant to the sketch or performance
