[Witcher 3 Remastered] Why does my game look so strange?

Does anyone know what the heck is going on with my graphics? Surely this isn't intended.

Graphics settings are on Ultra (no RT).

---

System: CachyOS (KDE Plasma)

Proton: proton-wineland latest, but it's the same with proton-cachyos. Game won't start with GE-Proton.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

GPU: AMD Radeon 9070XT

I can run most other games flawlessly, fully maxed out. This is just weird.

Unfortunately, you need to run the new version with one of the avaiable upscalers (in your case, FSR). Otherwise, you get what you are seeing.

I think FSR quality set to "native AA" should be fine if you don't want upscaling

What? Do you have any idea why?

It’s forced TAA, isn’t it

Your dynamic resolution is on, I had the same issue when I first booted the game after the remaster

Can be the sharpness on. Try to disable and reboot the game.

Looks like bad or no anti aliasing or sharpness.

Changing or even finding FSR version is still a mystery for me in CachyOS LOL

I would also really encourage you to enable RT. Makes those hard shadows disappear. It gets a bit dark in some interiors. But you can use the torch. IMO looks much better over all.

Also if you have sharpening on in adrenaline and sharpening on max in Game settings than it will look a little wierd.
