The entire usage of AI/LLM (even for coding) and normalization of its business model within Linux ecosystem (by using it and even removing disclosure tags) seems to be anti-thethical to FOSS principles but what do I know.

The majority of regular Linux contributors are corporate SWEs directly employed by tech companies to work on the Linux system to benefit the companies themselves. Many others are indirectly funded by tech companies through nonprofits. FOSS fundamentalists tend to ignore this fact. The core of the Linux ecosystem is driven by, funded by, and developed for tech companies.
