Learning mechanics

Hello, I'm a first year university student and my course doesn't offer any mechanics modules so I was wondering what specifics I should cover (classical mechanics, Newtonian, etc.) and in which order. Also any suggestions on resources.

ah man mechanics is a blast once it clicks. i’d go newtonian first for sure, really nail down forces and free body diagrams before touching anything lagrangian. for resources i dug through old mit opencourseware lectures when i was doing this stuff, they have a full classical mechanics sequence that’s free
